Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 A Hidden Gem Michael Short walk/drive to Rodeo Drive & rest of Beverly Hills. When you go for low-price, you often pay for it ("you get what you pay for"). Not so with the Le Montrose Suite Hotel. A true hidden gem! Our was a true suite--sunken living room, kitchenette, lovely bedroom (with a bed you can sink into!!), dressing room, bathroom, etc. Upon checking out, we were told the hotel had just gone through a major renovation; it shows it! Friendly, courteous staff; lovely amenities throughout. A real gem AND a short walking distance from high-priced Beverly Hills. I highly recommend Le Montrose Suite Hotel! Score 5 out of 5 Spacious suite at a great price! Anonymous, 2006-12-31 The hotel is literally a 1 min walk away from Sunset Blvd. I don't think there's much else to say about that! Perfect location..It was a very comfortable and spacious room, which included a large living area (couches, coffee table, media center, dining center, office desk), a very efficient kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, sink, stove, oven, cabinets), a great bedroom with a king bed and tv. The bathroom was also very large which included an enormous walk-in closet/dressing area. It was truly beyond my expectations. The hotel rennovation is well worth seeing. Beautiful multi-million dollar remodel! Very Young Hollywood, quiet and secure. The staff is very accomodating and helpful. Score 5 out of 5 Awesome Hotel! Beth, Orange, 2006-03-11 Key Club within a short walking distance from hotel. This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed out. While I'll admit it was a little pricey for me, personally, the amenities and room were worth every penny. Perfect for that special occasion or anniversary! It's within walking distance to the Sunset Strip, near shops, restaurants and clubs. My friends and I went to a concert at the Key Club, which was just down the street a few blocks. The staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and I was very satisfied with my stay. If ever I need to stay in the area again, I will definitely look up Le Montrose Suite Hotel! Score 5 out of 5 Near everything Robert, 2005-10-15 Whether you want to check out House of Blues, or other hot hotel bars at the Standard or the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel or the Chateau Marmont - everything's close by.I had read great things about this property, and it certainly delivered. Re: the cookies at check-in - just when I remembered that I had read it was a custom of theirs - and realized I hadn't received any - there was a knock at the door, and there they were! The rooftop pool is a mini version of L'Ermitage, but at a much more reasonable rate - and the hotel is near everything, yet still a block off of Sunset, so you can actually get to sleep without feeling like your in Times Square. The linens were great - the fireplace is such a nice touch - I was very happy. I would definitley go back - and in fact, did - two days later, when I found myself in LA for an addtitional night. Thumbs up. |
