Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 It works just fine Michael, 2006-12-10 It is real easy to find. The hotel was handy, everything worked, was clean and was just like a hotel is suppose to be, no problems. Score 4 out of 5 Lovely Grounds John, San Francisco, CA, 2006-07-17 I was traveling alone and this was a safe, secure property, although I was surprised that they were still using room keys -- not key cards. The room had three doors: a parking entrance, a poolside entrance and a patio door. I was glad I checked the sliding patio door before going to bed -- it was not completely closed. The room was very clean and quiet and all utilities functioned well. The bathroom was in need of remodeling. The shower and sink reflected many years of wear. The a/c was hard to control, but much appreciated in the intense heat. Office staff was very polite and helpful. The restaurant was closed for the day, but the staff gave me good ideas for dining. Score 5 out of 5 Very Friendly! Jackie, 2006-07-11 Visalia is considered the "Gateway to Sequoia National Park". A must see for anyone not familiar with California. The Highway leads you right up to the Park. This was my first time at the Lamp Liter Inn in Visalia. I have to say it was the easiest and fastest check-in I have ever had. The accomodations exceeded our needs and when we asked for extra pillows, they were there in minutes with what we needed. The staff was friendly, very courteous. I will stay there again when I go to visit my family. Score 4 out of 5 Quaint but Dated charlly, Minneapolis, MN, 2006-06-26 Sequoia National Park. The hotel has been kept up very well considering its' age. The setting was very pleasent and relaxing. The access to the interstate was terrific and the highway noise almost non-existant. I would recommend it to someone looking for an inexpensive stay but it is not business class. Score 5 out of 5 Location Anonymous, Fresno, CA, 2006-05-16 This was a good location relative to my needs in Visalia. The price was more than fair for the accomodations. The room was comfortable and contained all of the necessary ammenities.
