The hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the hotel and the airport.This hotel is a very good place to stay when arriving at SFO late in the evening. It has always been clean. It has been consistent over the last 4 years. The rooms are large and comfortable. I know that they offer wireless internet, but I have not used the facility recently. They also offer a computer in the check-in area for guest use. I needed to find a grocery, and the front desk was quite helpful in getting me directions. I did not need a resteraunt, and I'm not sure of the availability of one near by. I would recommend it a friend. Score 4 out of 5 Great Value William Monster Park, where the 49er's make their home, is just a short drive.The Comfort Suites at SFO Airport, in South San Francisco, are a great value. The accommodations are more than adequate for the cost of the stay. The close relationship to both San Francisco and the South Bay make this a very convenient place to settle for those that are interested in seeing the sights at a reasonable stay rate. The features that I appreciate the most are the cleanliness of the rooms and the continental breakfast. The rooms seemed quite large, and I enjoyed having a couch and desk with free wifi to work at night. It is close to the airport with easy access on and off the highway. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast selections. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The water in the bathroom sink would not drain because the drain would not open. My husband had to prop it open with a q-tip. Water from the shower dripped all night and it splashed down onto the faucet. Once it hit the faucet it splashed onto the floor in the bathroom. I realized this when I got up at 2 in the morning and stepped in about an inch of water over by the tub. Other than these plumping problems, everything was okay. Since it is an airport hotel it is not in the best part of town, but not the worst either. A highlight was the courteous staff and the wonderful (free) fresh waffles for breakfast. The hotel had some striking workers who picketed the hotel on the last morning of our stay and aside from being noisy, they were not too bothersome. The hotels is close to Hwy. 101 so it is a quick trip to downtown San Francisco and all the major sites. I would stay at Comfort Suites SFO again!!! It was only a couple of blocks away to get onto the freeway and in getting off the freeway, it was at the first intersection.Our family found this hotel very comfortable. It was located close to the freeway for quick access. The room was large and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. When I approached them about wireless internet and a difficulty I was having with my computer, they asked if they could possibly try to look at my computer to see if they could fix the problem. When I approached them about extra towels, the staff were very helpful in getting them immediately. Any questions I asked of the staff were cheerfully answered. I was going to be arriving late (12:00 AM) so I didn't really care about pools or anything but a bed. The place looked a bit shabby but was clean. I was out and on my way by 9:00 AM so it suited my needs fine. The breakfast was good. The shuttle to the airport was handy and on time. |
