Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Friendly Service, Mediocre Amenities Anonymous, Orange County, CA Prett close to downtown SLO. Medium walk. Very close to campus. Always love downtown SLO with all of the shopping and dining. You can catcha movie or relax by this mission and the nightlife has something for everyone. The stay was average. Hair dryer didn't work, and nobody there to fix it for us. Loud tenets, which staff obviously can't control, but just about ruined our stay. The table and internet access was very nice. The non-smoking room was fresh (no smokers smoked there as far as I can tell) and clean, spacious and had a fridge and microwave and lots of nice big mirrors. My boyfriend made himself a nice up of coffee in the morning and although we did not take part in the continental breakfast, it looked decent. House keeping was a little pushy waking me up at 9 in the morning to clean the room until I realized that I needed to put the do not disturb sign up. Pool and spa area was clean and fine. It doesn't feel like a luxery pool that you want to lounge forever at, but I still enjoyed myself in the spa. very close to lots of nice wineries and downtown SLO. Score 2 out of 5 My review of Best Western Somerset Inn Anonymous, San Francisco, CA, 2005-06-03 I had reserved a room with a queen bed, but when I arrived (about 5 p.m.) was told they didn't have any. I had to pay an additional $10 to "upgrade" to a king. The room was okay, but the bathroom sink stopper was stuck in the closed position and couldn;t be dislodged. The "breakfast" was below basic -- I skipped it. |
