It is a retro step back to the sixties. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location is great, just walking distance to Piers 45,39 and 33. The area has a variety of restaurants and other things to do. It comes with free parking, a $30 plus value. If all you are looking for is a room the is your best bet. The staff was both helpful and friendly. The rooms faily generous in size. Secruity was also excellent as a room pass was necessary to enter the stairwell or elevator. Location near the Wharf did bring some noise but it was the trucks loading and unloading in the early morning that was difficult to take. A room on the Mason St. side had people doing ealy morning deliveries around 4:30 or 5:00. a few yards from the street below the room. It is clean, the parking is free, and you are close to everything. It can be noisy though during holidays. Whenever I'm in San Francisco, I always stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel.
