Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Great location and price Cary, Orange County, CA Short walking distance to shopping! Sears restaurant is walking distance and is great for breakfast...you have to try their small pancakes....very good...it's what they are known for. Excellent service too! This hotel was very clean and nice. Nothing "Super Special", but great for the price. It was only a couple of blocks from Union Station and so close to everything. The staff was so helpful and the accomodations were nice. The room was small but sufficient and clean. The beds were very comfortable, but the bathrooms were very small. Nothing extra special in the rooms, but adequate and an excellent value! We would definitely stay there again. Score 4 out of 5 Somewhat noisy, no view... richard, 2007-03-13 all the best department stores within a 10 minute walk. plenty of food offers in the neighborhood. We had a room on the 5ht floor with a 'view' to an interior space, home to a couple of pigeons (early morning cooing). Along with no view, we found the walls and door to be quite thin, so that we could hear clearly the people in the next room and in the corredor. Also outside noises, sirens, trolley bells, etc., invaded our room. Bathroom sink a little low. Shower good. Very good location for Union Square, Market and Mission street areas. Friendly and helpful staff! Score 4 out of 5 Room 510 Anonymous, 2007-02-26 All the popular stores were within a block walking distance. Our stay at the Kensington Park hotel was alright. The room size was adequate and the location was great. The staff was wonderful. What we didn't care for was the noise level that could be heard in the room from the street and the room next door. Also I would have liked a coffee maker in the room or even in the lobby. Score 5 out of 5 Friendly staff Anonymous, 2007-02-02 In shopping areaThe room was nice but the neighbours were a bit loud or the walls are too thin. Could hear tv and people talking in the middle of the night. Score 5 out of 5 Good value Anonymous, Washington, DC, 2006-11-29 Close to the Union Square shopping district. This is a good hotel for the price. The rooms are somewhat small, but it wasn't a big problem for me. The best part of the hotel was the complimentary wireless Internet access. Score 5 out of 5 nice hotel sharon, Philadelphia, PA, 2006-08-09 the hotel was close to shopping/resturants located right at union square. transportion was close by either by taxi, trolley,or the bart system.the kensington hotel was very nice. the rooms were clean the location was great. traveled with my daughter and felt very safe would recommend this hotel to others. only downside was we could not get wireless internet even though it offered it in every room. Score 4 out of 5 Close to shopping and transportation Anonymous, Minneapolis, MN, 2006-04-29 Great little deli's and many good higher-end restuarants within easy walking distance. The Kensington Park Hotel was near a trolley line, close to Macy's, Broders, and other great shopping. We were able to get on one of the trolley lines less than a block away from the hotel. There is several good places to eat within easy walking distance. The room was very nice. Some street noise too early when on vacation and wanting to sleep past 7 am. It was nice that the bathroom is away from the main sleeping part of the room, with the closet as a noise buffer. We enjoyed our stay. Score 4 out of 5 Review erik, 2006-04-28 THERE'S IS NO REASON TO LEAVE THE HOTEL BECAUSE THERE IS EVERYTHING YOU WILL NEED, THERE IS LIVE ENTERTAINMENT AND FOOD ALL DAY ALL.Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-04-23 No review provided by user |
