Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Charming sleeper Michelle, Boston, MA, 2006-09-16 Buy a great cup of coffee and fresh pastry at Pete's on the wharf, then stroll to the Coast Guard dock to watch the very large and playful seals cavort. The Harbour Court Hotel in San Francisco is a best kept, not so secret, lovely boutique hotel in San Fran's financial & wharf district. The staff is genuinely interested in helping the guest have a first class experience. The Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel is arguably one of the best in the city. The Miso soup is incomparable. Guests have free access to a fully equipped, safe and clean YMCA athletic facility two doors down. There is much within walking distance and mass transit is convenient. This lovely hotel is a must-visit. Score 5 out of 5 Convenient location, compact hotel Celia, Houston, TX, 2006-09-04 Two nearby spots for a great breakfast: Hotel Vitale on Mission St, and the Market Bar around the corner on the Embarcadero. Handy to Market Street transport to go up to the financial & shopping areas. The Harbor Court Hotel was very well located, right beside a great Japanese bar/restaurant Ozumo's, close to transport, and right on the Embarcadero and wharf area. Rooms are on the smallish side, but well appointed and stylish. Reasonably quiet. Not much wardrobe hanging space, but a couple of big drawers under the bed. Although guests have access to the YMCA next door, there is a $10 charge. Lobby area is very stylish with free internet access. We would definitely stay there again. Many dinner options within walking distance. Complementary happy hour is a nice touch. Rooms are really (I mean Really) small. Would be tough for two people, even the closest of couples. |
