Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous nice resturant for my family and also a grocery store was very helpfulScore 4 out of 5 Simple little room Anonymous The Vagabond Midtown Sacramento was just a simple little room with no coffee pot, blow dryer, or any other such in-room amenities. The drapes hung over the heater/AC unit and would not stay shut when the unit was on. This would allow anyone walking past the room to see in. Also, I noticed the smoke detector was missing from the bracket near the entrance door and found it laying in a drawer. There was a restaurant right next door but it had been closed for some time. (I realize this is no fault of the motel) They did provide a continential breakfast which you had to go get downstairs. (I was on the 3rd floor) This was a small cup of coffee and a small sweet roll and we did return for more coffee. Score 4 out of 5 Served it purpose Anonymous, 2007-03-01 We chose this hotel because we needed to fly out of Sacramento Airport, so it was a money saver to stay nearbyThe price was right and the room did exactly what it was needed to do, put us up for the night. The beds were comfortable and it had a nice TV. We got in late and left early so we didn't use any of the amenities. We didn't have to hunt for a parking space though and they were more than happy to give us extra towels. The bathroom floor tile was very, very cold though and the showerhead was aimed at my husband's chest and not his head - not the best location for anyone over 5' 7". The blowdryer was very good, put out a lot of air and got the job done quickly. Score 1 out of 5 But For A View Kenneth, 2006-12-15 This is not a facility that should be recommended to anyone. The facility is located next to an abandoned restaurant near the Rapid Transit yard. Carpeting was soiled, TV did not work and the handles were missing from the shower facilities. The staff was otherwise oblivious; heck, they only work there. ONE OF THE TACKIEST PLACES I'VE STAYED AT. Score 2 out of 5 Musty Dennis, 2006-04-14 close to the freeway for access, but not too much noiseBoth rooms we had were very musty smelling Score 4 out of 5 Academic Stay Anonymous, Bakersfield, CA, 2005-04-07 I brought students to this hotel and it was fine for our stay. I was a bit concerned with the neighborhood, but everything worked out. We only stayed one night and the service was ok. |
