Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 i little run down Anonymous, 2007-03-03 the location was great but the hotel was in need of updates. The room was very cozy and nice but the parking was limited and the front office was very outdated. Score 5 out of 5 The staff was very helpful Christian, 2007-02-24 The State capitol is a short walk away, as well as the downtown mall. So many restaurants and bars in within walking distance. Too many to name.Very polite person when I checked it and very helpful. The room was a great size and comfortable. My only complaint was it would be nice to of had a little fridge in there for a few perishable items and drinks. Other than that you can't beat the price for the location, with so much around the hotel the price was excellent. I definetely stay at this hotel again or recommend my friends and family to stay there. Score 5 out of 5 A good value Anonymous, San Francisco, CA, 2007-02-03 The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was unusually comfortable, and I slept very well. The wireless Internet access (at no additional charge) was a plus. The location (a few blocks from the train station, and in the city center) was ideal for my purposes. The next time I go to Sacramento for a similar professional function, I'll probably stay at this hotel. I prefer to go downtown where there is a wide variety of dining choices from inexpensive to very chi-chi.The hotel was clean, the beds comfortable, it was quiet, it had parking, it had security cameras in the parking area and the corridors. Any drawbacks? Well, the breakfast was pastries and coffee. The morning receptionist mumbled. Perhaps he wasn't quite awake. The evening receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. I am a single woman and I always worry about security in a hotel. At no time did I feel unsafe. Walking through the lobby in order to get to rooms is a good way of keeping undesirables out. Score 4 out of 5 Good Chioce Anonymous, 2005-11-23 A local dinerWe stayed at this hotel as we were traveling throught o Oregon. It was easily accessible to I-5 and the hotel staff was very friendly. The room was large and comfortable although street noise was somewhat bothersome. They recommended a local diner around the corner which was very quaint and perfect for breakfast. I am not sure if we would stay again but the price was right and we got better than we paid. Score 5 out of 5 Nice room and good price Rogelio, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-11-07 The room was clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a fax in the room. I thought it had wifi access but I was unable to access from my room. The staff was very helpful and I would look into the Best Western in downtown Sacramento compared to other hotels in the area because of price and room amenities. |
