Excellent value

Lively downtown area with bars and shops just a short drive away

This hotel was an excellent value for the money. Not overpriced, yet not shabby either. It is somewhat dated, but kept clean. The staff was very friendly. Maid staff was pleasant. The location just a few blocks north of downtown was very convenient, with easy driving routes to everywhere we wanted to go. Excellent restaurant right next door, and beautiful view of the mountains to the west.

Restaurant next door offered breakfast, lunch & dinner at reasonable prices, as well as entertainment however, it got quite crowded on the Friday night we happened by. Get there by 5 pm to avoid the lines.

Our room was clean, well supplied, refrigerator & coffee maker was a nice touch. Over-all nice & clean inside & out.

Not Worth It

The hotel is mismanaged and run down. The staff was very friendly and are frustrated with the managements lack of interest in updating the hotel in a timely manner. The air conditioner did not work. This is in Palm Springs - it's the desert! If you like to smoke and enjoy being loud, maybe this is the hotel for you. The continental breakfast was chocolate or blueberry muffin, coffee and warm juice. Pretty disgusting. We were afraid to use the ice machine because it looked like who knows what kind of bacteria were living there. All and all, there is no way we are returning to this hotel!

Clean, refrigerator in room, optional safe, free coffee and muffins. There was a disturbance outside in the middle of the night, apparently with some hotel guests. We called the front desk, and didn't hear anymore noise. Great value if you just need the basics, plus it has a few niceties.
