Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 My review of Best Western Ontario Airport Ervin The restaurant adjecent to the facility looked almost deserted and not in good shape. We walked quite some distance to find a better place.Would not stay there again. They had ample room, yet when ask for a ground floor room we were told no! Had some difficulty understanding the desk personnel. Not overly clean. The lighting was very poor. The reason they would not accomoddate our request for a ground floor room was they wanted to concentrate all of the guests in two separate wings. We surmised this was to facilitate the clean-up process the next day. Score 2 out of 5 sad example of a quality hotel James, 2006-10-26 Various levels of dining experiences are within walking distance. The airport near by and shopping not far away. The Best Western Ontario Airport, Ontario, CA was shabby compared with othe Best Western's I have visited. Although the location was favorable and close to popular restaurants the facilities could be maintained better based upon the room rates. The room was adiquate although the tile grout on the white tile bath floor appeard blacked with mold. The edge here between good and adiquate balances upon customer service and quality assurance and costodial management. Score 4 out of 5 Strictly Business marquetta, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-10-24 This place is just a clean place to spend a night for business convenience. Somewhat old. Need upgrading. Score 2 out of 5 My review of Best Western Ontario Airport Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-10-15 There were many restaraunts, gas stations, fast food places and a bar nearby. It's in a convenient location. The Best Western Ontario Airport wasn't too great of an experience. The room had an odor. The timer for the bathroom light was a bit tacky. And the airconditioner was slightly loud. Returning to the hotel our wasn't even made up, and fresh towels weren't brought. Staying there was the worst experience I ever had at a hotel. It was really unpleasant and unsatisfying. Score 2 out of 5 So-so bargain basement Joe, Norfolk, VA, 2006-09-27 The hotel is old but there is nothing technically wrong with it. It is an old style motel. The bed was fine. The bathroom is small but clean. You can get a good night's sleep if the noise from the occasional train does not bother you. It is not far from the train tracks. It is actually more of a trucker's motel. I would not recommend it as I like to stay in places that are more upscale but it is adequete if all you want to do is sleep there. Score 3 out of 5 convenient to airport Anonymous, Allentown, PA, 2006-08-22 Staff was accommodating. Room included refrigerator, which was convenient, but carpeting needed updating. Nothing wrong with anything, but needs to be "freshened up". Score 4 out of 5 Great staff Joanne, 2006-07-08 I think most people go to Ontario for the convention center. The convention center was right in front of the hotel and a lot of fast food restaurants. If you drive about 3 miles, there is the Ontario Mills Mall which is half outlet and regular stores. They also have a Dave and Busters and a movie theater. It gets very crowded after 5.The staff were excellent. I think for the money the hotel isn't bad. The pool is nice and the room is fairly clean. The breakfast that came with the room wasn't bad either. Although it was near the airport, I didn't hear any noise. Score 3 out of 5 Very convenient Anonymous, 2006-06-25 10 MINS FROM THE ONTARIO MILLS MALL & 2MINS FROM THE ONTARIO AIRPORTThe room is average in size & comfortable. Score 5 out of 5 Terrific staff Anonymous, Fresno, CA, 2006-02-01 A shuttle takes you and your bags to the airport, we used the hotel parking option for the week, then they picked us up when we called and returned us to the car. It was very convienent and safe.We had a late night arrival for an early airport departure. The staff were terrific and friendly! This makes all the difference when traveling. Score 1 out of 5 Would not revisit Anonymous, Milwaukee, WI, 2005-11-11 The room was old from the furniture in the room to the rest room facilities. There was a tag on the bathroom floor from one of the previous guests and the floor was not swept. The cover on the bed was rather old and worn. If there was internet access it appeared to be via a local dial up and the front desk was not able to help me connect or link me to someone who could. We visit the area each year for a week and I will not stay there again. |
