Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Convenient location Stephanie, Salt Lake City, UT River Park shopping district in noethern fresno is unbelievable - the largest shopping area that I have ever seen - a major attraction with plenty of shopping and dining. The La Quinta in Fresno was centrally located and had easy access to I-41, the main north-south artery accessing all of Fresno. The room was clean and comfortable. There was some noise from the railroad tracks nearby, but it did not keep us up at night. Breakfast with fresh-made waffles was enjoyable. Score 5 out of 5 Very fine hotel stay Anonymous Restraunts located on both sides of hotel, easy walking distance. My stay was most enjoyable. Check-in employee very helpful and demonstrated a cheerful attitude. Cleaning staff all helpful and friendly. The room was clean and neat, overall my stay was most enjoyable. Something else, it was very quiet which I really appreciated. Score 5 out of 5 Friendly Place Denise There was a burger restaurant next door. Food was pretty good and IHOP was on the other side. The hotel was a nice place to stay for a quick visit. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The continental breakfast was a great added benefit. Score 4 out of 5 Cheeful staff Anonymous, 2007-03-14 IHOP to Go next door! The La Quinta staff members were always cheerful, though provided me with incorrect information several times. I was on the 3rd floor facing the pool. I stayed for a week and was awakened every night many times, particularly around 3, 4 and 5 a.m. with unrelenting train whistles. I'm sure people get used to it, but a week wasn't long enough for me to accomplish the task. I live on Main Street in my town, one block from the traffic circle, with trucks, emergency responders and motorcycles all night long. I'm not a light sleeper, and was particularly tired from hiking in the mountains each day during my stay in Fresno. On the other hand, the cleaning staff members were particularly thoughtful about when to refresh the room and what to leave alone. But the sheets that pull off the bed every night are just plain frustrating. (I do not have this problem at home, nor at other hotels -- I travel about once a month for several days -- so again, I don't think it was just me). The breakfast had a reasonable variation across the week -- fresh fruit and yogurt with boxed cereals was a good change from packaged carbs. Score 5 out of 5 very nice and very friendly Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-02-21 nice place to bring your familyit was a short trip and it very nice to be so close to every thing. Score 5 out of 5 My review of La Quinta Inn Fresno Yosemite Sandy, Knoxville, TN, 2005-06-04 Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly. The free continental breakfast at the hotel didn't start early enough for our planned departure so we tried the Ihop next door. The food and the service were great. |
