Score 5 out of 5 Convenient location e, Atlanta, GA Subway way attached to the hotel, a convenience store was two blocks over. Good for snacking!This hotel was located minutes from downtown Fresno and my meeting location. This was very important to me. I was able to walk to food locations and felt relatively safe doing so. Good value for the price. The room was clean and was big enough, with a fridge, side chairs and table. The breakfast was bellow what I expected, with a thermal container with some coffee and a bagged cake. The wireless internet connection on the room was very usefull to look for nearby restaurants. I would recommend the hotel for somebody staying for a short time Score 3 out of 5 OK, but not great Richard, 2006-07-18 There doesn;t seem to be anything to eat within blocks.The Americas Best Value Inn-Fresno Downtown is a fairly-clean, somewhat spartan hotel near downtown. Amenities are few - there wasn't even a clock radio in the room. I needed a taxi in the morning but there was no one around to help me find one (the sleepy, dazed night auditor was barely awake to check me out in the morning). In a pinch, this location is OK, but nicer accomodations can probably be found closer to the airport.
