We stayed at the Jhon Jay for one night on our way to San Diego. We had stayed there once before in July of 2000. I was impressed back then with the room we got that time. It was a suite with two rooms. Great for a family like ours. This time, we gao a double bed room . It was ok but not as nice and spacious as the suite we gat before. If you are traveling west to San Diego and need a place to stay, this is a good option. There was a leak on the roof of the hallway at the third floor. Nobody seemed to be working on it. However, I must admit that we checked in late in the afternoon and left very early next morning.
