Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 My review of Travelodge Burbank-Glendle Scott, Cleveland, OH Upon seeing the Travelodge Burbank-Glendle in real life gave me my first indication that this would not be a pleasurable stay. It was obviously rundown and maybe even somewhat less than completely safe. The check-in process was fine, but the room was cramped, it smelled of chemicals, and just generally not the kind of thing that made you feel comfortable. The last straw was when I made several attempts to call for a wake up call, each ringing probably in the area of 100 times -- never to get picked up. What if I had a problem with the room or some sort of safety issue? Obviously, not recommended. Score 1 out of 5 unsatisfied Anonymous, 2006-12-17 We rented 2 rooms, one on the first floor and the other on the 2nd floor. The one on first floor was fine, but the room on the 2nd floor was hard to open the water on the bathroom sink and it took about 30 minutes to get hot water for the shower and if the room was meant to be for 2 people, then why was there only one little bottle of shampoo? For the price, I expect a better room, we stayed there because we did not have another choice. Score 3 out of 5 My review of Travelodge Burbank-Glendale JACQUES, 2006-12-08 Only decent motel at a walking distance from my business meetings. Only satisfactory item was the refrigerator and the microwave in the room. but NO Internet connection...! Outside ice cubes machine broken. Lot of noises from the street AND from the other Customers. Rather disappointing. Score 2 out of 5 not what we expected renee, 2006-10-14 Universal Studios was a short drive from hotelThe Travel lodge in Burbank was very disappointing. The room was smaller then we exxpected. When we opened the door the was a bad odor, the ceiling had big water stains, closet wallpaper was peeling, the chair was covered with stains.Parking was terrible. On the upside bathroom was decent and sheets were clean. Score 2 out of 5 not good Debbie, 2006-07-30 nothing really close in walking distance it was a business areaThe parking was not good at all not enough space for all the rooms had to park behind the bldg or on the street. The check out time I thought was a little early. The room was not that big I have stayed at Motel 6 for cheaper and got a bigger room. It was clean but to small for the money. The pool was not open when I needed to go in it. Did not get to go at all as for the breakfast it was only for two hours and they could not of had anything but danish as there was not room for anything else I have had alot better for less the price there was not light in the closet Score 4 out of 5 Friendly management Anonymous, 2006-03-05 A good Sizzler resturant 1 blockTravel Lodge Burbank was convenient for my visit to L.A.however was a neighborhood that caused me a little concern for safety and parking was scarce. The room was pretty clean but was draughty.Facilities were good although the bed was quite hard. Overall for a business trip it was fine. Score 4 out of 5 Comfortable hotel Anonymous, 2006-02-19 There is a Sizzler 1/2 block awayThe travel lodge was a nice, clean, comfortable hotel. It was a little expensive for a room with one double bed. Score 1 out of 5 Gross! kevin, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-02-03 The outside of the building has new paint and looks like an older building, but well kept. Inside the room: cigareete burns on the comforters. Ants with wings on our bed and pillows. We actually joked about bed bugs. The carpet was unvacuumed and dirty. No TV guide. The bathroom was in need of a scrub down and new caulk. The shampoo had been watered down. No fan in the bathroom. There was a window with no curtain so when we opened the window to get fresh air in it opened to someones back yard with oranges and he was watering them--so that was not an option. Continental breakfast was 1 family size coffee maker with horrible coffee, and extra small cups, also 1 wrapped small roll per guests. That was it. We decided we would sleep in our car before we would stay there. It is a major rip off!!
