Very Clean

Surprisely the room was very clean. Modern. Felt more like a small apartment rather than a hotel room.

Very nice for all visitors

Joanne, 2006-05-19

Right across the street from the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim.

I was very please that the hotel was so close to the freeway since I am not familiar with the area. I spotted the hotel right away! The room was very nice. I liked the way it was decorated, and I felt very comfortable. I had the free breakfast downstairs, and it was great. Lots of choices for all ages. I was there for a business meeting, so I only stayed one night, but the hotel was so nice, I could have easily stayed another night

Such a gem.

Location can't be beat if attending an event at Angel Stadium or Arrowhead Pond.

We headed to Anaheim to see the White Sox vs. the Angels. It was a spur of the moment trip, but we were able to find a good rate at Ayres Hotel. Check-in was smooth at 2pm on Saturday. We were given a room on the first floor with two queens, and we were told about breakfast in the morning, as well as, how to operate the rooms electricity by using the room key. The room was much nicer than I expected very clean and plush. Also, I was pleased to see the room had a ceiling fan and fridge. The wet bar, microwave, and coffee maker were all welcomed additions. Additionally, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The accommodations allowed plenty of room for three to move about freely. The location in relation to Angels stadium is hard to beat. The walk to the park was a breeze. After the game, we were able to walk over to a nearby brewery and restaurant for a few drinks and some eats. Truly, the location couldnt have been more convenient. After a goodnights rest we went to the dining room for breakfast. We were able to grab a table as others left. We waited a bit in line for the prepared foods. When it was finally our turn the only breakfast offerings still available were eggs and sausage. They ran out of pancake batter and would not replenish it. Other items werent replenished either, like bagels, toast, OJ, etc. We didnt really mind since we werent counting on breakfast, anyway. Although, I would recommend dining earlier than 9am if youd like a selection to choose from, otherwise options are slim pickings. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ayres Hotel. We would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Good Place to Stay

Ryan, 2006-03-14

We were right next to the stadiums for the Angels and Anaheim Ducks.

The hotel was a great place to stay for our trip to Disneyland. The hotel is not that far from the theme parks. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I actually prefer not being right next to Disneyland because most of the families stay at the hotels across from Disneyland where it's quite a bit noiser. The free breakfast was good and simple. It was nice being able to check out later in the morning although I would have liked to have been able to check in earlier than 3pm. Overall, we will probably stay here again when we go to Disneyland again.

The Arrowhead Pond is right across the street.

I was very impressed with the hotel. The check in staff was very friendly. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The beds were also very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend this to my friends and family.

Review of Ayres Hotel

Ayres was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger and cleaner than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs and coffe maker. I would definitely stay there again--the price was good and the location was excellent.
