Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 Good price and and thats about it Anonymous, Sacramento, CA, 2007-03-04 There are lots of restraunts in the area.We stayed 3 nights at the Alamo Inn & Suites, the room was just ok. If you need a place to sleep then its what your looking for if you don't mind thehot water going off while your in the shower, nothing like getting only cold water while your showering, adjust it to warmer and then get burned. Also it was close to Disney but with small childern it isn't so close. We went to take the shuttle over to find out that you can't buy a daily pass from this hotel. You either have to walk, drive yourself and park at DL for $11.00 or pay $3.00 adult each way to DL. We thought everything needs to be updated. We don't tink we'll be back with so many other hotels we'll pay the extra money to stay at a nicer place with shuttle service at least. Score 2 out of 5 Needs work Trina, 2007-02-24 The location was fairly close to down town Disney. Not a bad walk unless you are very tired. There was a water leak spot on the cealing, Roaches, The Bathroom knob was broken to where you got locked in the bathroom, The clothes hanger was broken, Holes in the cealing, and a hole in the wall behind the door. A little basic upkeep would be be a good idea!!! Score 4 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-12-29 Denny's is down the block & many more stores.Score 4 out of 5 conviniently centered Ingrid, 2006-10-29 There are many popular restaurants near. The pool needs to be heated and hair conditioiner needs to be provided. It was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed it. Score 2 out of 5 Cheap hotel for a cheap price Anonymous, 2006-10-28 Disneyland is right across the way.The Alamo is a good motel if you just need a place to rest your head at night, it is not for people who are looking for a nice or luxurious hotel, it needs alot of redoing, the desks and furniture were molding etc. I wasnt grossed out by it, I was just happy to pay a cheap price for a few hours of sleep. Not a motel to stay long trips in. Score 5 out of 5 Review jose, 2006-10-22 the cafe next door is very good.Score 1 out of 5 Vacation Nightmare Debra, 2006-10-08 The "Alamo" in Anaheim was a very poor decision. The room was very diry, the carpet was stained (heavy traffic area) walking into the room. Around the edges of the room there was alot of dirt that was very visable. Our beds were hard, like sleeping on the floor. The shower would turn ice cold just a minute into the shower. There was not a "deadbolt" on the door and we would move luggage infront to help secure the room. Score 2 out of 5 ok Anonymous, 2006-09-24 It was ok its just they need to replace some old furniture cause its nasty all eaten up like if it had termite. the bed was to stiff...likely it didnt smell like cigarrettes. the bath tub smelled like pist. and it looked very dirty, it felt very uncomfortable to take a shower. especially when you have a 7 month yeah old baby. cause i wasnt able to give him a bath i didnt want him to catch anything. the only thing that was good was the fridge... Score 4 out of 5 Great Location for the price kalyan, Seattle, WA, 2006-09-19 Walkable to disneylandHotel staff are friendly & welcoming. Rooms are ok, shower had a leak. Location was great, walkable to disneyland. Score 4 out of 5 Convenient accomodations Anonymous, 2006-09-18 Denny's is right next door and several other restaurants were within walking distance. Disneyland is across the street but a good walking distance to the entrance. The hotel was clean and run efficiently. The parking lot was small but seemed that there was always space available. One of the two rooms we rented had no clothes hangers in the closet. Overall the hotel experience was good. |
