Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 perfect location Anonymous, Springfield, IL, 2007-02-19 Nearby restaurant, Piatti, has great food, atmosphere and reasonable price. Need to make reservation for weekends though. The room was a bit tight for 2 adults & 1 child. However, overall I would recommend this hotel because the location is so great. In the mornings, one could just take a leisurely walk to downtown Carmel and stop at cafes & stores. Can't beat the location. Great restaurants nearby so finding a place to eat is not difficult. The small room was not that bad since we were only there at night. Complimentary breakfast was also a nice touch to start the morning. Score 5 out of 5 Warm and friendly Renee, Sacramento, CA, 2006-07-11 If your into Art and shopping it is all very close. The Carmel Inn & Suites was very easy to find, we got there a little late but check in was quick and easy. The room was private, cute and very clean, we were right next to the room that served free continental breakfast, that smelled goood! My husbnad asked that we upgrade the next day because he felt the room was small, we got a larger suite next door that he was very happy with. The man at the front conter was VERY accomodating and gave us good advice for future check ins. Everthing was in walking distance. Score 5 out of 5 Great location Anonymous, San Jose, 2006-02-19 Our favorite restaurant, Casanova, is 1 1/2 blocks from the hotel. The Forge in the Forest is half a block away. The Carmel Inn and Suites is in a perfect location. We were upgraded to a suite with a King Bed. My husband has difficulty walking and we were lucky to be on the ground floor right next to the Office. We were within walking distance of restaurants and downtown Carmel. Our family members met us for the day and it was nice to visit in the living area for a while before we all walked to lunch. The bathroom is quite small but we managed. The continental breakfast is very minimal. No juice or fruit; just bagels, sweet roll, and bread. |
