The Travelodge Crescent City is located in the heart of downtown Crescent City, between US 101 Northbound and Southbound, and is close to the harbor, great dining, shops, fishing, lighthouse, and the nicest beaches in Northern California Additionally, the Travelodge Crescent City is across from McDonalds and near Dennys Restaurant, shopping and theatres. The Travelodge Crescent City is a short walk to the beach and harbor, and minutes to the worlds tallest Redwood trees, the famous "Drive Through Tree", Redwood National Park, Ocean World, and Trees of Mystery.

Dispite this there wasn't a noise problem from the road. The decorations were simple but in good condition. HBO was provided for free. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful with road conditions information. Score 4 out of 5 Nice Cheap Motel Casey, 2006-09-04 Try to follow the coast line on the little side roads there is some spectacular views.The travel lodge provided a very small clean room with very little perks but at a very resonable rate I would stay there again if I couldnt afford a room on the beach. The staff was very nice and informative she gave us a map and told us where to eat thats what made our trip. Monica, 2006-06-25 I visited the coffee shop right across the parking lot and the coffee was great. I went to the salon around the corner and recieved friendly service. The health food store had everything I needed. The Shopping center across the street has everything you could possibly need. Denny's and many other fastfood restaurants right across the street.The staff at this motel were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean. It is located with in walking distant to everything I could possibly need. The is a shopping center right across the street. Restaurants within 4 blocks. The beach was 3 blocks away. A health food store, laundry mat, beauty salon,bakery and coffee shops all within 2 blocks. I visited all these places an the staff was equally as helpful and freindly. This is a great place to stay for ALL them local amenities you have right in walking distant. The value for this motel with the staff and cleanliness is exceptional.
