Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Business Noemi, 2007-03-12 Their is a few restaurants around about one mile or so from the convention center. every thing else you need a taxi about 15-20 minutes away.The staff was very nice I was out on business.I always request for pool and spa. this place did have one and I called to confirm before I booked my rooms. When I got their the spa was not working and it didn't work the entire time I was there and the pool area was very dirty. You could not at all walk barefoot because then your feet wood be black!! I was once again very, very disappointed because they did not give me this information when I called. It would've been very help full because I wouldn't have stayed there. The only thing I was not happy with was not enough channels on the TV, other than that I would and have told other people in my company about this hotel. There were plenty of places to eat near by so I didn't have to drive far. The hotel staff was very accommodating and the room was well equiped. There were several fast food type restaurents near by but we did not dine at any of them due to our late arrival and early departure. Parking was also good. Unfortunatly the noise level from the street in front of our room plus the constant roar of trucks from I10 that was just behind the hotel and the nearby train tracks prevented our ability to sleep. We had breakfast there twice. Lots of restuarants in the area and close to freeway.The Ramada was very close to the airport which made it convient for us since we were leaving very early on a Sunday morning. The room was small but clean, bathroom was small but vanity separate. We were here in February so we were not using pool, etc. Was a little noisey from people going down the hallways at night. For the price you can not beat it. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and close to the airport I would recomend it. It was the first time I stayed at an airport hotel that didn't have a shuttle. So in addition to the price of the hotel it was another 15-18 dollars for a taxi. |
