San Jose Museum of Art
This contemporary art museum features revolving exhibitions, post-1980 works as well as older contemporary art from its permanent collection. The renovated Historic Wing now includes a cafe, bookstore, and education center. Public tours of exhibitions are offered every day at 12:30 and 2:30pm. On the second Saturday of each month at 12:30pm, the public gallery tour is signed for deaf and hearing-impaired visitors. Groups are asked to call and make reservations at least 1 week in advance.

Family friendly

A lot of Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants near by.

The Ramada Limited was confortable. The room was very small but clean. The Ramada layout is more like a motel than a hotel. The rooms surround the parking lot and all room doors open out to the outdoor balcony next to the parking lot. I hear all the noise of the all people walking by and above my room to their room and the noise of cars moving in the parking lot very loudly all night long ! The staff was courteous but the check-in was disappointing.

The room was small, but clean. The property is difficult to find even with directions. The one way streets make backtracking necessary.

Milk, cereal and fruit for continental bkft, helpful staff, internet access

Joe's Italian cafe just two blocks away, has been there for ages. Movie theater is about 5-6 blocks away. The tech museum and imax theater 4 blocks away.

For the money, great location, easy access to freeway for out of towners. Museum of quilt and textiles within the block. Parking is a plus here. 4 block walk to The Tech museum and downtown area. I'm going back.

Value near Convention Center

Just two short blocks from Il Fornaio, a restaurant with inspired Italian cuisine and a great selection of wines by the glass.

If you're paying your own way, the Ramada Limited is a clean and friendly choice just one block from San Jose's Convention Center. My room had the three things I needed: comfortable mattress, a well-lit desk and free wireless access.

The Convention Center is located within a few blocks away from the hotel.

The Ramada Limited is closeby the San Jose Convention Center and is a short distance walk to the downtown neighborhood. It is also the most affordable hotel at San Jose.
