Great Location

This hotel is right across the street from Disneyland and is very easy to walk from so you don't have to pay for parking. With it being so close, you can come back in the middle of the day to get away from the crowds and then go back at night once they have thinned out.

Bad stay

Anonymous, 2007-03-14

It is more than a block away from Disney land.

The customer service was terrible & the night mamager was extreamly rude. Our room was not keept up at all, the dresser drawers were broken, the phone didn't work, the shower/tub diddn't drain and the sliding glass doors that seperated the kids room in our family suite didn't slide close. We will never stay there again and would never reccomend it to a friend.

Clean and Close to Disneyland

Disneyland is a short walk and it's much easier to walk than drive!

Very quiet

The Jolley Roger Resturant and the convention center are a 5 min walk.

Nice moderate price hotel in the middle of everything. Walk to the convention center or a couple of resturants and a stones throw to Disneyland. Room was comfortable, quiet and just what I neeeded to attend something at the convention center.

Very impressed

Sean, Portland, OR, 2006-12-14

The Captain kids buffet across from Disneyland costs as much as most of your meals in the area, but it sucks! Dont waste your time/money. It looks way better than it tastes, and it doesn't even look good!

We were expecting a run down hotel when we got dropped off the shuttle. But what we saw was palm trees and what looked like was a brand new hotel. The lobby and front desk area looks brand new. The whole hotel looked brand new. They only reason we could tell that it was not new was the bathroom and shower area. Showers were older. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Front desk and maintenance were really friendly. They have a computer to use in the lobby as well. Bathroom was separate from the vanity area too. Ihop and other places are right across the street. So is Subway and a liquour store. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the front gate Disneyland. Which is what we needed to work off all that expensive food you'll be buying at the park.

ok hotel

First time we stayed it was worth it but we must have gotten a well kept room.. Had to buy air freshener! The 2 queen bed room smelled musty.. I don't think I'll be staying there again.. Second stay there turned me off.

Nice Staff

Anonymous, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-11-01

The Jolly Roger Cafe next door will give you 10% off your food if you take your room key!!!

This was actually my first visit to Disneyland. The hotel staff was pleasant and were willing to answer my million different questions. The hotel had a wierd smell, the bathrooms were a little broke down looking, but for the price it was a fair deal. No bugs and that was the thing I worried most about. They have no room service, no diner onsite, only overpriced vending machines with not much to offer! If you need a cheap hotel close to Disneyland, this one is not a bad choice. If you can afford something more luxorious however, pick something else!!!!

Great location

Jonathan, 2006-10-25

It's probably quicker to walk to Disneyland from the hotel than to park there and get the tram.

The Portofino was comfortable and good value for money. The room was large and spacious, with two beds, a large TV and general bright decor. All amenities you would expect from more expensive hotels - iron & board, coffee maker, etc. Plenty or parking too. The location was excellent - very close to Disneyland.

Excellent value!

Frank, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-10-25

Disneyland and the Anaheim are within walking distance. The front desk provided a list of nearby restaurants.

Portofino Inn & Suites was an excellent selection. The hotel was very convenient to Disneyland, The Anaheim Convention Center and a wide variety of restaurants. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The staff was courteous and helpful. Plenty of secure parking. And, best of all, at a very reasonable rate.

Great Location, ok service

Jacob, Seattle, WA, 2006-09-26

Walking to Disneyland will save time and money. The shuttle service is more of a hassle and will take longer than walking.

The location and cleanliness of the hotel was teriffic. The service left something to be desired, as did the amenities. As an example, the pay per view in our room had no access to be able to purchase a movice. When I tried to call the front desk for help, I got no answer repeatedly. Also, no internet was available without charge.
