Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 My review of Safari Inn HEINRICH, Miami, FL First, is not a Hotel, it is a MOTEL. An old fashioned roadway Motel that have been upgraded. The rooms were clean. I would recommend to a friend for a place to sleep only for ONE or TWO nights. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Safari Inn Harry, Portland, ME Standard motel fare, but very clean. Location on major city street some street noise but had end room right on street. Fitness room is very small and under equiped. Continental breakfast was almost a joke, stale pasteries, smallest apples I ever saw and no decaf coffee. Sister hotel next door (Annabelle) had good food but was understaffed. Desk staff seemed harried every time I went to office but tried their best to please. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Safari Inn Kim, Ontario, CA there were alot of things within in walking distance. Shopping was within 5 miles. Located in a very busy but quiet areaVery clean and comfortable. Really nothing negative about stay except no computer hook ups unless I went down to lobby. Other than that was great. Score 4 out of 5 Convenient Motel Anonymous, 2007-02-18 Short drive to several restaurants such as: Olive Garden OutbackHotel, more like a motel, provided a convenient location for us with a large shopping center nearby. Restaurants that we enjoyed were located in this mall. Room was large, 2 doubles beds with plenty of room to spare, with a large bathroom and separate vanity. Parking lot was sufficient large that we parked near our room most of the time. Score 5 out of 5 very accomodating staff Thomas, Denver, CO, 2006-12-12 Short distance to Holleywood without the noise and traffic. The location has easy access to all northern Areas of the city. Score 5 out of 5 One Hip place for a motel. Amy, Chicago, IL, 2006-11-19 The Safari Inn looks kind of old with the vintage marquee but its amenities are modern and first rate. The rooms are large and comfortable with plenty of storage space. The bathroom is clean and well kept. The cleaning staff does a very nice job. Theres a refrigerator in the room and a microwave oven by the vending / ice machine area. They also have washing / dryer machines too if needed. Next door in their sister hotel is a very nice restaurant, great upscale food and a nice bar. Its location is nice quiet area yet still close to Burbank and the freeway. And the desk staff was very friendly and sweet. I would defiantly come back. Score 1 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-11-07 The room smells of vinegar and you're worried about bed bugs. One word for this place - tacky. Score 2 out of 5 My review of Safari Inn Anonymous, San Diego, CA, 2006-10-21 Charged $25 for the dog that is a 3 pound Yorkie that does nothing. There was no mention of a non refundable charge for the dog. Man at the desk was snotty about the dog charge. The restaurant was very good but in another hotel 1/2 block away. The room was typical Score 5 out of 5 Best Location Anonymous, 2006-10-11 I would eat lunch at Micheal's Bar and Grill if you are attending a taping at NBC studios it's on your way at Catalina street.I felt "safe" walking at night with my girlfriends. The free breakfast was nice, and the hotel staff was great giving suggestions on things to do during my stay and arranged a town car on my return to LAX airport. I called the desk for extra towels and pillows for the room and they were prompt. The beds were lumpy along with the pillows, but for the price you couldn't complain, I would stay again. Score 5 out of 5 very convenient Isabel, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-10-02 There is a restaurant attached to the hotel and several restaurants in walking distance. This hotel was very well kept up and the staff was friendly and helpful- We had tickets to a TV show at NBC and it was only a 5 minute drive! |
