Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 good night sleep Chrystal, 2007-02-01 There are many cute shops and restaraunts a short walk away from the hotel. It's in a great location just outside of the main drag in Palm Springs. The 7 Springs Inn in Palm Springs is a cute boutique hotel. The rooms are large and clean (mine came with a sofa and a kitchen!) for less than I paid at a larger hotel chain the privious week. They use 1000+ thread count sheets and fluffy white duvets instead of those creepy floral comfortors. I slept like a baby. Plus they leave yummy blood orange scented shampoo in the bathroom, love it! Score 3 out of 5 My review of 7 Springs Inn Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-10-26 There are many quality restaurants both fine dine and casuel with in a short drive of the hotel. I enjoyed the ride up the Palm Springs Area Tramway to the top of the hill with great views of the Total Palm Springs area. After 4 PM the have a ride and dine package that is very affordable. The Seven Springs, is a small boutique style hotel that was recently remodeled, very comfortable bedding, but that was it, the room was very small. It seamed like just a place to slee. The closets space was very small with no room to hang more than a days clothing. There was a microwave oven and refrigerator in the room, Why? No table or chair in the room. The room was clean and the toiletries adequate. We had a problem with the air Conditioner not working to it's peak, and the thermostat was broken. The pool and spa was very nice and a welcomed oasis if you were there for pleasure. I would not recommend this hotel for business, no internet or desk etc. The big selling points to this property is PRICE. Good value if your a tourist and spend most of your time sightseeing and not in the room except to sleep. Score 5 out of 5 great hotel gary, 2006-09-04 Try Billy Reed's for breakfast, about a mile north on palm canyon, I've been going there for more years then i care to think about. and the Coyote mexican resturant is great too, better then the others there. This was my 2nd time at this hotel, the first was great, the staff was great both times, check in was easy and pleasant. and amusingly both times the air conditioner in the rooms didn't function properly, the young lady at the desk was one of the best, both times moved us to a similiar or better room. the beds are great. the grounds are very well maintained, the pools may be a bit small, but they're quite lovely. The housekeeping staff is the best. great service and very helpful. the rooms are contemporary, and very well equiped for either a short stay or longer. parking is a bit slim, but plenty of room across the street. This isn't a hotel to stay if you don't have a car. its a bit of a walk to downtown. but a short drive to the main part of town, about a 3/4 mile. It is probably the best smaller hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in, and plan to do so again. I almost hate to write how nice this hotel is, I highly suggest it, either for a romantic getaway, or for a family stay. Score 5 out of 5 Great Room Appointments Anonymous, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-06-23 The inn is somewhat lacking in parking spaces. The Seven Springs Inn and Suites had a wonderful room at a great price. The king bed was extremely comfortable with crisp white linens. The kitchen had granite counter tops and included all items to properly cook a meal. We enjoyed the heated spa and liked the fact that it was very close to the heart of Palm Springs. Score 4 out of 5 Good for those on a budget Anonymous, Washington, DC, 2006-06-15 The old town village is nearby, so it's easy to find shops, reataurants and bars, even a cassinoPositive aspects: comfy beds, stereo/CD player in room; a small pool and spa. The negative ones: breakfast (just a jar juice, coffee and some pastries in plastic bagas served in the reception area); the air didn't keep the room cool in the afternoon sun (and it was mid-June); I made a call through a 1-800 number, which is free at other hotels, but they charged me $ 3.07 for it; Since I was always coming back late, I never got a proper parking space. Overall satisfaction: for the price I payed it was ok, especially because the beds were very comfy and the room was clean. Score 2 out of 5 Relaxing atmosphere Anonymous, Ontario, CA, 2006-05-30 A few blocks away are a lot of great restaurants and shopping. The 7 Springs Inn & Suites had a great pool and spa area. The beds were very comfortable and the staff very nice. However, uon arrival my room was not ready (3:00 p.m.). After I finally checked in I turned on my AC and went into town to let the room cool down. I came back to find a hot and humid room. I was moved to another room (which was an upgrade) since the AC was not able to be repaired then (with no help moving my things). After taking a swim and relaxing by the pool I came back to find a huge cockroach in my room. The maintenance staff did take care of it. The morning "continental" breakfast was prepackaged "pastries", something that tasted like tang, coffee and apple juice. Overall the grounds of the hotel were nice as was the pool area and staff. The only thing I liked about the room though was the comfort of the bed! Score 4 out of 5 Great Value Anonymous, 2006-05-24 Make sure you have a rental car to access the Palm Springs area. The walk from the hotel is further than anticipated. Good location though. This hotel room was very comfortable but had a stale smell and the air conditioner was noisy (wall unit). I felt the value of the room was very fair with the competition in the area. It would be great to stay there in the winter time (no need for air conditioning). The entertainment unit was excellent (TV/DVD) in the room. Very nice surprise. They do a nice job on the upkeep of the grounds. Parking is a problem with limited spaces for hotel guests. If you don't get one of the spots you park across the street in a dirt lot. Staff was very helpful at arrival. Score 5 out of 5 very cozy rooms kerry, 2006-05-18 A nice afternoon to take the tramway to the top of the mountain...pine trees, clean air, and a healthy walk await those who enjoy hiking, and having a buffet-style meal at the top.this hotel was exceptional as far as comfort. courteous staff, well kept grounds, and beautiful rooms.. a must stay while in palm springs.. Score 5 out of 5 Very relaxing get-away Anonymous, 2006-05-07 The Palm Springs downtown area was within a mile and a half walk, 2 minutes by car. Very nice to have that so close. The 7 Springs Inn was a wonderful little surprise. The decor is very retro cool, the grounds were fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable. From the outside it does not look like anything to write home about - but once inside it seems like a hidden treasure on Indian Canyon Road. My only issue, if you can say that , was our room did not have much in the way of counter space in the bathroom - making it hard to have toiletries out in there. But there was great water pressure in the shower - a HUGE plus! I will definately go back there again - and next time I might try one of the suites! Score 5 out of 5 Very people friendly Anonymous, Reno, NV, 2006-03-01 Shopping and restaurants nearby. We met some very nice people around the pool and in the yard area from other states. I liked the retro/50's look of the hote. The decor was tasteful with clean lines. No frills, but everything was clean and attractive. |
