The resort staff was great. Score 4 out of 5 Adult Friendly Anonymous, 2006-10-15 Plenty to do near buy great shopping and dinningThe ammenities were nice. I would highly reccomend this hotel. The only complaint is you expect a more quiet enviorment to relax. Practically everynight there were late night parties. Our room faced one of the pools near the bar. I would reccomend a room away from this gathering area. I would stay again as long as we were not so close to the activities. It was loud and obnoxious until 1 am. Day time was much more pleasant. The parking accomadations were herendous. They should let you know that there is a charge for parking. I feel we would return to this hotel. Score 5 out of 5 nice relaxing getaway Anonymous, 2006-09-17 nice hiking trails near byThe room was small but pretty, the bed was very comfortable. the staff were friendly. the view of the mountains was great and the location was perfect just a short walk from the strip. very relaxing and quite. Score 5 out of 5 Viceroy -Old Hollywood Charm Gina Linn, San Diego, CA, 2006-09-06 Everything is nearby, shopping, dining, entertainment, biking, hiking you name it!If you want privacy this is the place. Staff is at your beck and call. Beautiful grounds and charming bungalows. I will be back as often as possible. Score 5 out of 5 very friendly felt like at home NAHID, Orange County, CA, 2006-07-09 hotel had the most exotic food and drink that you did not have to even go out however i dined at a nearby restaurant suggested by the receptionist at the time and it was worth eating therepeople at hotel were extra friendly I liked everything about my stay' the only thing I did not like was the air conditioner not being central it was attached to the room so at night the noise was very disturbing Score 4 out of 5 Great hideaway Amy, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-06-30 Just steps away and you are at the greatest restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was welcome and accomodating. They were willing to go above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant one. Score 5 out of 5 Excellent property Jeanette, 2006-06-08 Just about 2 blocks from downtown shopping and dining. Very close to so many things we like Palm Springs for. This quiet, cozy and very charming hotel was a very unexpected surprise. It isn't the 'typical' hotel. Very quaint and very well upkept for an older property. It feels like you are in a seperate little fortress that was so relaxing and beautiful. I will definitely stay here again. I cannot wait to show the Viceroy to my husband on our next trip to Palm Springs. Score 4 out of 5 Lovely grounds--rooms could be better Karen, Orange County, CA, 2006-02-28 You can park close to your room on the perimeter of the grounds--just find your room first!I knew the Viceroy would be modern in design but, I thought they'd use high quality furnishings. I was disappointed to find pressed board/laminate furniture instead. While the bed was quite comfortable and luxurious, the rest of the furniture was of poor quality. There were no drawers to put my clothes in and a very tiny closet. The fitness room was great and the grounds were beautiful. Some of the rooms look like renovated apartments, while others look like lovely cottages. Score 5 out of 5 wonderful and relaxing SHANNON, Portland, OR, 2006-02-06 ask to see room before checkng in to find the best for youalthough the romm was sparce and small everything else about the hotel was a 10. would like to return to relax and enjoy the hotel again. |
