Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Review Al, San Francisco, CA, 2006-08-29 Many attractive choices nearby. It's very cute but over-priced. Room was located in an expansion building a long uphill walk from the office and restaurant and then required a four story walk-up. No elevator. Room did not have the shaped rock shower with multiple shower heads that I remember from my first visit and the reason for returning. Past it's prime and beginning to show age and over-use. Score 4 out of 5 modonna inn sulema, 2006-08-03 Go wine tasting many nearby winerys including the hotel. My stay at the modanna inn in san luis obispo was very nice and comfortable. The surrounding area was very countryside like. The staff there was ve sury courteous and pleasant. I am interested in the near future in booking their cave suite. Score 4 out of 5 If you are in the area Anonymous, 2006-07-03 There are several breakfast places in San Obispo. Pricilla's is the best.If you are in the area, the Madonna Inn has a unique look and theme. Each room has a different style and decoration. The most unusal rooms are expensive but truly an expereince due to the "cars", "animals", "waterfall", etc. Definitely worth looking at these particular rooms even if you do not stay in one. Although we did not eat at the diningroom, it is worth having a drink in the bar area. A place to see once. Nearby is San Obispo, a western college town and a real treat to visit. |
