Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Convient for travelers with pets. Robert, Oakland, CA, 2006-07-31 Across the street is an In N Out burger location. Close access to freeway is also good. This Extended Stay location is great for getting to downtown Santa Barbara, as it's right off the 101 Freeway. The room was ok however the price was a little too much. We stayed there because it allows pets and our pug was traveling with us. I (WE) bring along a metal collapsible cage and play yard, with the floor being 2 1/2FT rubber mats for kids and a blanket to cover the mats. This bring little hair to the room however they charged us $75 for three nights extra for the pet. Wish they could see the set up to see that OUR pet will not damage their room while we are out. Other than that and the fact that the room was close to the rear entry door and has a pet area outside for the dogs necessities, this location is given a 95% for trying. Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, 2006-03-26 Short drive to Calle Real off Patterson yield amny restaurant choices.Score 5 out of 5 No Sign Teddy, Durham/Raleigh, NC, 2006-02-19 GolfNo sign visible from Calle Real as you are driving. Only upon passing it, do you see sign. No staff 24 hours. Very incovenient, as I tried to reach someone at 6:30am for somewhat of an emergency. Someone did answer but they were CLUELESS. Called 800 line and they were unhelpful. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location and Price Rebecca, Oakland, CA, 2005-12-18 Do not stay here if you are looking to walk to State Street. It is a bit of a drive to get to the main shopping area, but it's a much better price than the hotels on State Street. My stay at the Extended Stay America was great. The rooms were clean and spacious and the loaction was great. I had my dog with me, so it was great to know that there are hotels out there that let you have your pets stay with you. Score 2 out of 5 Giving limited service a new meaning Anonymous, 2005-11-06 There's an Inn & Out Burger across the street, but even to get a cup of coffee you have to drive several blocks. . .Convenient for UCSB, but not for anything else. This property is adequate for an extended stay, as the kitchenette is a nice amenity. However, we were surprised that there were no other amenities, and that housekeeping costs extra. I was given a sheet at checkin, which I, of course, did not read initially, that outlined the fact that sheets and towels, etc. were changed every 7 days unless you paid extra. The staff was nice and helpful, but the price differential with other limited service properties in the area where they DO clean your room isn't worth the inconvenience. Score 5 out of 5 Nice place to stay Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-10-16 In n out across the street from hotel!ESA Santa Barbara was nice. There were more amenities than expected. The was plenty of room to sit and relax. It was great to have ample space to hang clothing and an area to place your suitcase. Score 5 out of 5 Great stay for the price Jane, San Jose, CA, 2005-03-20 Santa Barbara is very expensive and also accomodations are full, full, full (if you wait til the last minute). We stayed here at the last minute and were very pleased. It's not the Plaza - but it's clean, close, and comfortable!!! |
