The room was clean. Nothing fancy but very reasonable. Score 4 out of 5 Accomidating Anonymous, Portland, OR, 2006-08-20 The room was ok. It was quiet. Score 2 out of 5 Location was great for shopping Anonymous, Sacramento, CA, 2006-05-14 on the other side of the road.Days Inn Fresno, rooms were fairly clean with the bathroom toilet not right for my disabled mother but we managed. It had an excellent air conditioner and refrigerator. and was quiet. Score 1 out of 5 Don't stay here Anonymous, 2006-05-06 This place was awful. The desk clerk was the rudest person I've encountered in a long time. The room was dirty and had a chemical smell that made me sick. This is a bad, bad place. Score 2 out of 5 Rude, Unfriendly, and Dirty Steven, Orange County, CA, 2006-04-06 There is a Mervyn's, Sears, and other stores nearby. There is also a Denny's as well as a McDonald's close to the hotel. The Days In in Fresno, California was a fairly comfortable room. It was clean enough, and well kept up. The location was reasonable -- it was close to the airport and close to restaurants and shopping areas. This is wear the compliments stop. The gentleman at the front desk was very rude, both when I was checking in, and when I was checking out. I'm glad I didn't want to go swimming. The pool was very dirty. It appeared that there was no attempt to protect the water from rain from the previous few days or to clean the pool after it had stopped raining. In short, I was very dissapointed with Days Inn, and will not be visiting this hotel in the future. Score 1 out of 5 Old Sydnee, Las Vegas, NV, 2006-03-15 2 blocks away on the corner of Shields and Blackstone is a Denny's, you can always count on them for a good breakfast. The Days Inn - Fresno on Blackstone is an old motel, and according to my family who lives in Fresno it is located in an undesirable part of town. The room had an odor of mildew probably coming from the carpet at the entrance to the bathroom, it was soaking wet. The tiles in the shower were pulling away from the wall, this is probably the souce of the leak. It was obvious that no property upgrades have been done for some time. Score 1 out of 5 Cockroach sighting Christina, Santa Maria, CA, 2005-10-07 My destination was only a few minutes away (hospitol). When entering the lobby, strong old musty odor of mold. Entering the room, odor stronger of mold. I killed a cockroach crawling on the wall. The clock radio was on the tv, I needed to set alarm and went to see if i could connect to outlet next to my bed, the outlet was a safety hazard, loose and difficult to install clock. I did not get a sense of good sanitation practises and would never recommend or visit again. Upon departure, I needed some type of documentation to prove to my employor of my stay for reinbursement, counter person would not give me a receipt, difficult to understand his explanation of why. The only positive statement I can offer is that the location was next to Gold's gym, which I am a member and participated in a work out session. Score 1 out of 5 not friendly- no fitness center- dirty room & pool- hotel ran down- drug dealing Ashlee, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-09-28 I ate at HOME TOWN BUFFET TOLD TO ME BY A FREIND.The days in was not what I or my daughter expected. I can remember days inns from a little girls. I always wanted to stay there.but, after my experience at Days inn.My view was terrible, I was stuck in a room with a dirty refrigerator, toliet .My next door neighbors dealed drugs they had people coming and going all night and day long. It was very nosisy. The pool was very dirty it had tree limbs and debree foating around, The bottom of the pool was green. I picked this hotel because of the price and the anemies of a fitness center. they has none. When I asked I was told down the road in walking distance. I'm very unsatisfied with my stay in Fresno. |
