Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 Pretty good Christopher, 2006-07-29 Ontario mills shopping area is pretty close by.It was more expensive than I wanted but things worked out pretty nicely. There was wireless internet which I made use of. The staff was friendly and when they made a mistake on my billing they made sure that it had been corrected. The only complaint that I had about the place was the fact that when I got there, there was this strong odor of mildew. When I expressed my dissatisfaction they immediately changed me to a different room, but it was a smoking room and so I had to deal with the smell of smoke for the remainder of my stay since there were no other rooms. The other complaint that I had was the noise. If youre on the ground level or one of the middle level rooms then its extremely noisey when poeple on the floor above you are walking to their rooms. If youre a hard sleeper then it probably wont bother you but for some who must have complete silence then it could be bothersome. In all I liked the cleanliness and friendly staff, Id recomment it. This establishment was my forth stay in the area. I took Best Western (because of the rating and name) as the best options left. The main reason I was not very satisfied was the accoustics. I could here voices of the persons staying on both sides of me. The room was close to the interstate and that was distracting at times. There was a baseboard tile missing in the bathroom. Because this has been an annual trip, which will now be twice a year I am hoping I will continue to find decent accommodation. I go solely because of family responsibilities rather than pleasure so hotel comfort is VERY IMPORTANT to me. I am now at the point that because of the time it takes to drive to the actual area when my family business happens, of looking for a place closer to there. Everyhting I wanted was within a ten minute drive.The best western inn was practical and convenient. The staff was helpful and the rooms clean. checking in went quickly and they were helpful in giving directions. From Dave & Busters to Nordstroms Rack!Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived so they checked out luggage and we used the time to return our rent car since their shuttle service would take us anyplace in the area we wanted to go. The hotel shuttle came and picked us up from the car rental return and took us to the nearby mall. We ate and shopped and called for the shuttle which came and got us after a small delay. Later in the evening we used room service which provided a very tasty snack. The next morning there was an amazing and delicious FREE breakfast buffet available until 10a which included not only cereal and toast but eggs, potatoes, bacon and make your own waffles, plus all the usual juices, etc. Check out was a breeze and the shuttle took us to the airport. The room was clean, comfortable and up to date. We will definately stay there at the next opportunity.
