Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Was OK but too expensive for the OLD Hotel.. Anonymous I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes. Score 4 out of 5 Expensive Anonymous, 2007-02-14 Restaurant right next doorthe hotel is just OK...It is way overpriced. It looks like they were going for the old fashion look and what they got was the run down look. The room I had was tiny, the bathroom looked like a work in progress. I did like the Lan internet instead of wireless that every other hotle has in Yuma. I would not stay here again at this price. Perhaps in the summer when Yuma hotel prices get back to normal. Score 4 out of 5 Comfortable Sylvia, San Diego, CA, 2006-03-05 Dining & breakfast were right across the street from our room. The hotel was very quaint & clean. Seemed like bungalows. Breakfast was complimentary every morning we stayed for the whole family & not just donuts & juice. Very quiet area. I would stay there again if ever in Yuma. Beds were very comfortable & I slept great. Score 1 out of 5 Cheap but that's all. Janet, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-02-02 There is a restaurant 100 yards from the hotel and the hotel gave me a coupon for a free breakfast there. This hotel was very cheap for the time of year that I stayed. It did have a coffee pot in the room which I consider essential. It also had a built-in hairdryer which I always want. The room was not clean and I was not in the mood to leave at that time and find another hotel so I stayed. The bathtub had hair in it and the countertop in the bathroom was sticky. The bed was uncomfortable and the blanket was dirty. The location is at the corner of 2 busy streets in Yuma and the noise of traffic and city vehicles started at 5:30 a.m. There is not much the hotel can do to alleviate this but any customer should be aware of it if they don't have to rise that early. |
