It was an older Knights Inn that had seen its share of people coming and going. The water in the bathroom was good, though it had an unusual taste. The door had plenty of locks on it for security, and you needed it, as all around the door you could see out toward the parking lot..which was also where you had to go to view the mountains surrounding the area. The swimming pool was large enough for a small family of four..but not much else...Overall, a SMALL BANG FOR THE BUCK!!!! The staff sopke very little if any english & it was impossible to communicate with them. They had to be told to clean the room on the first day we stayed there and there were never the same amount of towels in the room from one day to the next. One reservation was from July 14 - July 17 and the other was from July 16 - July 17. I have used your company before and have been very impressed. This time however, I was appalled. When we got to the hotel the outside of the building's paint was pealing and it had a look of disrepair. I went in to enquire about our rooms and asked to see our room to make sure everything was ok. The reception desk said alright and gave me the key. When I went into the room, the room was not clean, the bed wasn't made, there was beer bottles in the room, and clothing from the last tenant still there. Our room was suppose to be ready by 11:00 a.m. and we were there at 2:00 p.m. Not only that, but the pool was green. Needless to say we did not stay there. The receptionist gave the impression that she did not care if we stayed there or not. She even said that if we didn't want to stay that it was okay with her. We then had to find our own hotel, which was a Howard Johnson. Luckily it had rooms for us. If I were you I would certainly look into the above mentioned hotel and take them off of your hotel list. I was even told that they were being watched by the border patrol for illegal operations. Needless to say, even though we had a rough start to our trip it turn out to be okay. I was just very disappointed by the hotel on your list and the trouble I had to go too, to find my own hotel rooms. I'm just glad that it wasn't tourist season or I might not have been able to find a hotel as easily. I don't know if I will again use your service, I will just have to wait and see. The customer service representative that I talk to was very helpful and did refund my money on my credit card. |
