Whenever we needed something, they made sure to get it to us very quickly. They were always pleasant. The room could have been a little cleaner, but it was by no means dirty. A few small updates would make this place even nicer. We would stay here again. The location is super! The restaurant next door was nice with friendly service. The only thing is that we were expecting a continental breakfast, and they gave us a coupon for a free breakfast next door. The free breakfast was very small, so if you could not fill up on that you had to order and pay for more. Still happy though. The room had a couch and table with chairs, so staying there a week was comfortable. The bathroom was separate from the vanity area, so getting ready while the other person was in the shower was easy and you did not have to stand in the steam. Huge closet with plenty of hangers. Score 1 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Detroit, MI, 2007-03-03 The room was dirty, no microwave, rough neighborhood, no continental breakfast. Score 2 out of 5 Uncomfortable bed William, Augusta, GA, 2007-02-28 Restaurant alongside was not attractive--it doubled as a nightclup at night. However, a MacDonalds was within walking distance. The door had to be forced open getting in and it was difficult exiting through it in the morning. But the most unstatisfactory experience was the bed. It was not good; the pillow inside of the pillow covering had Eve written on it which was visible to the viewer. Score 3 out of 5 if you just want a place to sleep Patricia, 2007-02-23 near the highway easy driving distance to parks but away from down town - no charm. Some rooms were in a courtyard and small pool which would have been nicer. The weather was not conducive to swimming, if it was warmer this amenity would have been nice for children. For the price it was C+ grade- The location of this hotel was off the highway, it had no charm and our room had no view. We were on the end and we looked over heavy equipment storage area. The room size was large and comfortable. Our telephone was not working- it did not connect to the office so we had to walk to the office in the evening to request an additional blanket. The hot water in our shower did not work properly when we first arrived so the first shower was uncomfortable, but they repaired it that evening, and a hot shower is the only luxury I can not live without. The television worked, except ABC had poor reception and noise so we avoided that channel. Overall, the hotel was very basic- Fortunately we left in the early morning and returned at 9:00pm so we spent no time in the room. Score 1 out of 5 Not Happy With This Place Susan, 2006-10-23 The Palo Verde was NOT what we expected. The hotel was in very sad shape and I would not stay there. As a matter of fact we did find other accommodations for our four night stay there. Even thought the room was probably cleaned I did not feel that I could sleep there. My husband said it reminded him of the hotel in Planes, Traines & Automobiles. I really don't know what to say since we did registed, then went up to the room to place the bags up there. We left, and all I could think of was that I didn't want to stay. We checked out the same evening. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Palo Verde Inn & Suites Anonymous, 2006-08-27 The hotel is right, but the location is not good and the restaurant is somehow limited... after that is ok, the people there seems nice. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes. The sofa was very worn and torn. The hot tub was filled with bugs and not lighted. The room just did not feel clean. Score 4 out of 5 Review Christian, 2006-07-09 Near by Restaurant |
