Most recent user reviewsScore 2 out of 5 scary neighborhood Anonymous, 2006-07-19 I was not thrilled with this particular Motel 6. The neighborhood was terrible; at 7am I heard a man cussing and screaming. I couldn't really sleep well due to the bad location and scary individuals I saw. Customer service was not up to par either. The staff person who checked me in was lacking in customer service skills; she did not greet me, and when I asked a question, she acted as though it was troubling her to speak to me. The accommodations were typical for Motel 6: clean rooms, basic needs met. The one thing I was unhappy about was that the TV channels were mostly Spanish-speaking. I wanted to hear the news in English, and I couldn't find any channel; but there were channels in Spanish. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Motel 6 Tucson - 22nd Street Anonymous, 2006-02-28 The hotel was great for an overnight traveler but would not work for a long stay. We were very tired and I really don't remember much except the beds were comfortable. When we were leaving the next morning someone wanted to sell us a watch so he could pay for his room and another man wanted to give us $200.00 to take him with us. I don't know the Tucson area and this may happen anywhere. Score 3 out of 5 good rates, lock your door Peter, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-02-22 The tucson convention center is one mile away, and waffle house is next door. Woo-hoo!Motel 6 in tucson offers the normal amenities that any budget motel chain offers...none, but that is to be expected. One gets what one pays for, right? I would have slept well, the room was clean an comfortable (although a bit small), but i had this strange feeling that my car was going to be broken into while i slept. I would check periodically out the window, trying to look unassuming. During my sleepless vigil, i noticed a number of cars that would pull up to the moteland just sit and wait...? Oh well, i shant be the judge and jump to any conclusions. The next morning my wake up call was right on time(although the ringer i can still hear in the bowels of my soul), and i was on my merry way. Exciting and dangerous, me and Motel 6. Py the way, my car was unmolested... Score 4 out of 5 Business wende, Phoenix, AZ, 2005-04-10 It's by a freeway!!! That's the only downfall. They should have some non-smoking on the otherside of the motel, away from the freeway!!! |
