Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 condition Dwayne, Phoenix, AZ, 2007-03-14 We went to see the Desert Museum and it alone was worth the tripThis Motel was a good money value. We did not spend much time there, but it could have been cleaner. One of our rooms did not have a clock and there were water stains on the wall paper. It could use a general upgrading. Score 4 out of 5 Good deal for the money Michelle, Chicago, IL, 2007-03-11 This hotel is very near Tucson Electric Park. GREAT for seeing the White Sox. The restaurants suggested by the htoel are nearby. This motel is not new or upscale, but it is clean and quiet. The pool is well maintained. Pool towels are not provided, but you can trade in towels if needed. The room is fairly small, but the weather is so nice that it doesn't seem necessary to have a large room. The beds are kind of hard. The pillows are flat. There was a security person around during the night and day. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. Score 2 out of 5 Poorly maintained William, Reno, NV, 2007-03-04 The only good thing about this motel was the check in.......Refrigerator was sitting on the luggage stand, the shower needed major repairs and updating. Score 4 out of 5 Long weekend James, 2007-02-11 Short drive to Downtown shopping and dinningThe Best Value Inn was a decent value for the money. The room was a pretty good size. I was a little disapointed with the cleanliness of the room but that could have been partly due to the fact that it is an older Motel. The location was close to the downtown area. For a long weekend it was a good value. Score 3 out of 5 Pass this one by! Mary, Ontario, CA, 2007-02-05 Sink was chipped, towels worse than shop rags, rough and gray (maybe they were white a long, long time ago). There wasn't anyplace to get a meal. No coffee pot or any other amenity. Television had very limited channels and POOR reception. You just don't expect poor reception in 2007. I wouldn't stay here again except in an emergency, and I would not recommend to anyone. I wanted an inexpensive room and I got one. I was not necassarily looking for the best of the best and in that regard it was fine. It surved the purpose that I wanted! Keep in mind however that the staff gave us room keys to a room that was already occupied and we just walked right on in on someone! I did not feel completely safe and was a little hesitant on leaving my personal items alone at any time and was constantly wondering if someone was going to somehow(mistake or not) have access to our room key by mistake. Score 1 out of 5 Not a nice place to stay Donna, Detroit, MI, 2006-09-05 I was very dissatisfied with this hotel. It is nothing but a dump. The area is loud and busy and there were so many uncomforting people around. The room stank like animal pee and the fan was about to fall off the ceiling. The t.v. was smaller than my head and provided only about 10 channels. The rooms were paper thin and you could hear everyone(thing) going on outside. The "breakfast" they had in the morning was nothing more than one muffin the size that comes in the bag of muffins from Hostess. No matter what the price, it wasn't worth staying at even for one night. |
