Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Good simple hotel Anonymous Comfortable, remodeled within the past couple of years (tile floor in bathroom looks nice). Clean, didn't smell of smoke in our non-smoking room. Overall, pretty nice for a standard hotel. Score 5 out of 5 Friendly staff Judy, 2007-02-17 The town of Sedona is compact, so the distances are fairly short everywhere, but not necessarily alking distance. The reception person was very courteous in helping me choose the room I wanted and I got a sense they care about their business and customers. Everything seemed clean. Score 4 out of 5 Tired Rooms Anonymous, 2006-09-18 Pizza Haven was a few doors down and I would highly recommend itThis hotel recently had an exterior face lift and looked very pleasant on the outside, however the inside hallways, rooms, furniture and bathrooms were a little run down and tired looking. The staff was nice and friendly, but again the interior was a little disappointing. I will say the location was excellent, though. Score 5 out of 5 Moderate accomodations Anonymous, Springfield, IL, 2006-07-13 several restaurants in walking distance. The place was nice with a good view of the mountains. The room was priced reasonably compared to comparable rooms in the area, a resort town. I would stay there again. Score 5 out of 5 Nice place to stay at Laurence, Hartford, CT, 2006-05-18 The whole area was great for movies shopping etc sedona is a beautiful place to visit or vacation etc you must go there even if its just once in your life, youll leave with great memories of everything. The super eight motel was in a very nice area the room was nice n comfortable. There was a restaurant within 100 ft n it was a real nice homesly place to eat breakfast lunch or dinner. real good food The pool was very clean n neat. i would recommend, the super eight to friends on the whole i had a very relaxing time there. In closing when i go back to sedona i will most likely n probably stay there again but upgrade to a room with a refri n microwave. the staff were very nice also Score 2 out of 5 Not Satified At All Shalyn, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-03-18 In sedona, we were very close to all the moutain reserves to go hiking and downtown sedona to go shopping. We were not in the heart of downtown but on the outskirts. It would have been very beautiful if it weren't for all the construction going on around us.The staff of the hotel was indeed very friendly, but not very accomodating. During the two nights we were there, someone on our floor stared smoking marijuana. We were in a non-smoking room, but on a smoking floor. But our room was right next to a smoking room though. That night, the smell of the marijuana started infiltrating our room. I went out into the hall and was overcome by the smell. I called the front desk to alert them of the problem, and he told me that he would be up to check on it. I asked if he could put us in a different room and he told me that he was full, and there was nothing he could do. I at least would have expected that he would have comped our room, but he did not even offer a discount. We got there and the pool was under construction and unusable and the breakfast consisted of nutrigrain bars and stale coffee. I will never go back there again! Score 5 out of 5 My review of SUPER 8 MOTEL - SEDONA Anne, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-02-21 It waas fine. We were only there 1 night. Thhe lady at the front desk was helpful when we asked her questions. Score 4 out of 5 Friendly Hotel Staff Charlotte, Tucson, AZ, 2005-12-26 The restaurant on the property was excellent, as well as other restaurants nearby, such as the Peking Inn.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was o.k. but very bare bones compared to what I am used to staying at. Towels were too small, bed was not that comfortable. There was no hairdryer in the room which is normally standard. No closet to hang clothes. Score 4 out of 5 Far away from city center Anonymous, 2005-10-23 The view of the stars is amazing directly behind the hotel. It was a decent hotel - not too fancy, but clean and functional. The smoking room we got was not preferred, but didn't smell bad at all. There weren't many available electrical outlets, which made recharging our phones difficult. Overall, it was fairly good and there's a Safeway across the street for cheaper dining! My main disappointment was that we were not within walking distance of Sedon'a downtown. Score 4 out of 5 great location Mary, Phoenix, AZ, 2005-07-08 The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Conviently located. The only problem was the staff required a $20.00 deposit to use the phone in your room to make local calls. |
