In Sedona you are surrounded by culture. The new Cultural Center next door is home to many music festivals. Explore over 40 art galleries and shops. Take a hike to see Indian ruins nestled in the cliffs or feel the energy forces at one of the vortexes. Have an invigorating workout in the fitness room, followed by a relaxing nap by the pool. Then enjoy a night-out at any one of many fantastic restaurants- you can even find rattlesnake and cactus on the menu. Don't forget the camera. Our spacious accommodations offer a relaxing Santa Fe decor. The suites feature kitchenettes or kitchens, foldout sleepers and balconies or patios. The one and two bedroom suites feature in-room Jacuzzis, fully appointed kitchens and cozy fireplaces. The resort offers BBQ areas, organized activities, laundry facilities, two outdoor heated swimming pools (open year-round), three whirlpool spas, and a fitness center.
We are happy to announce the continued expansion of our Sunterra Sedona Summit Resort. We currently are undergoing heavy construction to provide additional deluxe suites and amenities at our resort. During the construction period, there will be heavy equipment, noise, and personnel on site through May of 2008.
Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 My review of Sunterra Sedona Summit Resort Anonymous, Dallas, TX A very quaint and charming little town shopping and dining center is just down the street, lots of artsy shops, unique dining experiences, and alternative interest shops (such as crystals, psychics, etc...).Everyone at the resort is a pleasure to work with, and the resort itself is beautiful and very well accommodating. My only complaint is that there is no maid service to refresh the rooms daily. There is a card on the inside of each room's door that says to place the red card into your door lock asking for the room to be made up. Otherwise I assumed there would be no room service. After my second day there I was out of coffee in my room, so I placed that card into the door slot in hopes that I would have coffee for the next day when I came back. However when I returned I was disappointed that no one had brought coffee for me or made the bed (although that wasn't really a big deal to me). I called the front desk and the receptionist just said that they didn't go by the red card process anymore, and I said they needed to let the guests know how to ask for the room to be cleaned then if they weren't going to use the cards anymore. I asked her to please send someone over to bring me some coffee for the morning and within 5 minutes a very friendly attendant came and brought me coffee. Score 5 out of 5 A Good Place To Stay David, Springfield, IL I was very pleased with this hotel overall. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was frindly and very helpful and when I inquired about places to sight see in the area with my family they gave great advice. Also the views from our room were outstanding. This was a great place to stay. The only draw back was a sales pitch for a time share on the day we arrived, and after traveling all day I really was not interested and had to politly say no more than once, but that draw back was quickley forgotten as we enjoyed our accommodations. Score 4 out of 5 Good Value and Great Location Shannon, 2007-02-14 If you like pizza, you have to stop at a little restaurant called Picazzo's Pizza. Great food for the price. It is a little pricey, but you are served lots of food. We had leftovers for the next day.The hotel was great. The rooms are studios with mini kitchens. It is a great value for families. The rooms were very clean and contained everything you would possibly need. There is no maid service, so you need to make a point to ask for things that you might need and you have to make your own bed. So your not spoiled that way! As soon as you get there you are sent to the "concierge" which really is an opportunity to schedule a timeshare sales meeting. After we refused the offer, we weren't bothered anymore. The view and area around the hotel are spectacular. Currently, the hotel is under huge renovation so you may want to ask about the status of construction before you book your reservation. Score 4 out of 5 Vacation Subdivision Daniel, Spokane, WA, 2007-02-10 The resort is like a mini-subdivision,located a short drive from the core area of Sedona. We checked in late and our priority was to get to our suite and then search out a good restaurant. The host was more interested n arranging our sales orientation booking. The accomodation was pretty much what we expected, although the furnishings were dated and somewhat spartan. For example, two baskets of plastic flowers did not add to the ambiance. The resort ameneties were available, but limited. The availablitiy of the internet as a "cost add-on" was a surprise, albeit there were two accessible terminals in the lobby.I would only recommend the resort based on a pice advantage, not on thbasis of the resort itself. Score 4 out of 5 Okay for the Money Anonymous, Washington, DC, 2007-02-06 Best breakfast - Sedona Airport Best Restaurant - The Asylum in Jerome (about 30 miles away)The Sedona Summit Resort was decent. The Studio Suite was comfortable and furnished adequately. The location, while outside of the main town, was nice because it was quiet being away from the strip of shops and services. Restaurants, grocery, tourist sites were all convenient to the property. Score 5 out of 5 Very organized Anonymous, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2006-12-10 The Coffee Pot restaurant offering a selection of over 100 omlettes is a short drive. From my arrival on site I was always greeted and treated as a valuable customer. In today's world, that is a treat! Score 4 out of 5 Comfortable, small Samuel, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-10-31 Crescent Moon Ranch is a short drive down the hill towards Red Rocks State Park and has some awesome scenery, including a small river with Sedona's red rock mountains in the background. Great photo spot. The studio we had was quite small, but well laid out. It had a fridge and microwave, sink and some dishes, a couch, coffee table, and small dining table. The shower was HUGE, but the water pressure was not so great. Overall comfortable and fairly quiet. Some rooms have better views than others, but they all have balconies or patios, which is nice. Score 4 out of 5 a nice hotel john, 2006-10-24 ther is a wonderful vege restaurant called d'lish very close to the hotel...driving distance that is!we enjoyed our stay at the sunterra...the rooms were clean. Some of the rooms are very close to the highway. The rooms have adjoining single doors making the noise of the neighbors quite prominent. when we arrived the smell of chemicals in the room was noticable. The floor was also wet from a carpet cleaning. When we called the front desk and asked for another room...after some hesitation we were moved... we were fortunate there was another vacant room otherwise ... we may have had to move to another hotel. the staff was curteous and the rest of the stay was pleasant. |
