Enjoyed this place much more than the pricier 'Heartline Cafe'.If you want to stay away from the shopping area and be NEAR the best hiking spots, this may be your best bang-for-the-buck in sedona. Staff couldn't be nicer. Best meal we had during our 3 night stay.An onsite restaurant would have been nice. Free breakfast was o.k. Orange juice would have been nice, maybe I missed it. Score 4 out of 5 Great amenities Anonymous, 2006-12-10 The uptown is within a shortdriveIt was hard to find the location since there was only a small sign indicating the motel, and the location was a bit away from the uptown. Also, we were stressful for a moment because the toilet was not working for a moment, but a staff was fixed it that night, so we did not have to move. However, the continental breakfast was awesome - it was more than what you could ask for. There was a Safeway, a grocery store, nearby, so if you are out of something, it is within a shortdrive. Score 5 out of 5 Great Value for Money Anonymous, 2006-11-02 The hotel is situated a short drive from down town Sedonna but also a short drive to Red Rock State Park. This is a very interesting Park with good walks, scenery and gift shop. Not very busy. Forty minute drive to Jerome and Verde Valley Railway. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a great knowledge of Sedonna and area. Also have discounts to major attractions. Rooms are clean and comfortable with fridge and microwave - very convenient. The pool and spa was great and even heated! Free breakfast had a good selection and was constantly refilled. This is my 3rd stay and I fully recommend it. Score 5 out of 5 Great accomodations in Cave Creek Leslie, 2006-04-29 El Encanto, the most wonderful Mexican Patio and dining in all of the Phoenix area. Has the feel of being in an enchanted garden in Mexico. Satisfied Frog and shopping right across the street. You could not ask for a better location. The Villas of Cave Creek were beyond our wildest expectations. Very comfortable, well apointed, beautiful views of the desert, and within walking distance of El Encanto, our favorite Mexican Restaurant. This place is a time share, that we felt very lucky to be able to stay in...unreal, townhouse, with Southwestern Style, and gorgeous grounds. Blooming cactus, layed back, great hiking nearby, and just all around a wonderful, relaxing visit. The staff made accomodations for late arrival, and we had a hot tub on the deck to sit out and watch the shooting stars. Wonderful!!! Every kind of food. The Days Inn is very comfortable. Good choice of food for the breakfast which is uncluded in the price. Very friendly and informative staff - they seem to know everything about Sedona and have discount coupons too! The "heated" outdoor pool was quite cool but the hot tub was great! The location is on the main highway - a short drive from the centre of Sedona. Many restaurants and services along this highway. This is my second visit and I will be back again. Score 5 out of 5 Clean, comfortable and great value Anonymous, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 2005-08-05 There are plenty of hiking trails and beautiful scenery all around. Shopping is within walking distance (liquor store, groceries, book store, bead store, UPS shipping) and the heart of Sedona is only 5 minutes away by car.The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool area and thought the free breakfast had a nice variety of bagels and fruits to choose from. We had a lovely view of the red rocks from our room and found so much to do within minutes of the hotel. Score 5 out of 5 Friendly helpful staff Carol, Palm Springs, CA, 2005-08-05 The Sedona Information Center was very helpful and gave us great tips for places to go and things to do and see. Unless you are independently wealthy I would skip the so-called Mexican village shopping center off the airport road. Although it had some beautiful scuptures the price was prohibitive. We enjoyed your staff and their assistance, especially having my credit card returned when I forgot it at check in. They were also helpful with directions and information. The room was comfortable but could have been cleaner as there was a lot of dust on top of the tv cabinet and headboards, etc. |
