The Oak Creek Terrace Resort is nestled 4 miles from Sedona in Oak Creek Canyon between the beautiful red rock and tree covered canyon walls. Our grounds are lavishly planted with trees and shrubs. For your enjoyment, we have barbecue picnic areas, hammocks and swing by creek. Centrally located for day trips to Grand Canyon, Indian Ruins, shopping, galleries, and other major attractions. We also have fishing and convenient access to hiking.

Great food in Sedona especially Picazzo on 89A which has a truly great gluten free menu! Oak Creek Canyon is lovely and provides superb hiking. The Red Rocks are stunning!Oak Creek Canyon is lovely. But not so oak Creek Terrace Resort. Where to sit in the room? Only on the bed. There was no room for a chair so there was no room to sit comfortably. And no place to put the luggage. We finally ended up opening one piece on the edge of the jacuzzi and the other on the heathof the fireplace. The carpet was old and shabby and not too clean looking. Granted the hotel had tried to repaint the rooms at some time but the paint job was not well done. There was a coffee maker in the room but plugging it in was a problem. Only if we put the coffee maker on the aside of the jacuzzi and ran the plug around the corner and up the wall could we have used it. We didn't. We looked for another place to plug it in but decided that putting the coffee maker on the night stand was too risky. We did not try the jacuzzi--it didn't look real clean. Or was it just stained? The plastic flowers planted outdoors in planters should have been a hint to us from the very start. The towels in the bathroom seemed clean enough but I thought the face cloths felt oily. Maybe it was too much fabric softener. The real clincher was the room rate posted (as required by law)in the room. That rate was lower than what we paid. That was a first for any place I have ever stayed at in North America, Europe, or Asia. sorry I cannot recommend this place. I feel sorry for the owners who are trying, I think, to provide an economical alternative to expensive and overpriced Sedona locations. Unfortunately, the price at the Oak Creek Terrace was expensive in light of the poor quality. Score 5 out of 5 A Romantic Time Randall, Phoenix, AZ, 2005-07-17 Oak Creek Terrace Resort, Sedona, AZ is a place you can let your hair down and be free. The place is basic overall BUT has good qualities. As you walk in to the room you see your own fireplacee and spa [for two]. If this resort doesn't bring the love of you two something is wrong! Between the fireplace, spa and Oak Creek it hits the romantic spot in all. |
