Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Watch Out george, Boston, MA, 2006-05-24 Plenty of stores and shops. Great viewsThis turned out to be a time share. They try to strong arm you into buying at their property. Score 4 out of 5 It's more about selling timeshares than providing service Danny, 2006-03-06 Dining in the area is quite good, and the views of red rock towers are spectacular. Hiking in the Red Rock State Park is an enjoyable way to spend some time. Don't miss the cathedral built into a rock!Upon arrival we were offered a room upgrade and a reduced room rate in exchange for seeing a timeshare presentation the next day. Also, the room to which we were upgraded was quite nice and had a better view than the portion of the complex where we were originally slated to stay. However; both my wife and I had the impression that the reduced room rate applied to our entire stay and were surprised to learn, upon checkout, that it only applied to the first night. Still, we appreciated the amenities (esp. the mini kitchen) in the upgraded room. And frankly, if you're turned off by people pushing timeshares, don't go to Sedona at all, because you'll be set upon at every turn. My only other comment was on the so-so cleanup, especially in the bathroom. I kept wondering if we became second class hotel guests when we failed to bite on the timeshare. Score 5 out of 5 Great Location...Nice Room Dena, Los Angeles, CA, 2006-03-06 The hotel was a little hard to find in the dark, since we were looking for a hotel building and it is located behind the shops. We were presently surprized with the room it was very nice and had a very nice view. The only thing is that the walls were thin and we could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to us. We had to turn on the tv to not hear them talk and they were not even talking that loud. I liked the roominess, the bed was comfortable, nice fireplace and couch to sit and relax. It was nice to have a balcony and chairs to sit on and enjoy the moring and the view. I would definatly reccommend this hotel to a friend and would like to stay there again! It was walking distance to tours, shops and dining. Fantastic location. Score 5 out of 5 Great Value PASCAL, Albany, NY, 2006-03-05 Be sure to use all the beautiful facilities at the Los Abragado's Spa & Resort. It is right down the road from the hotel and is included with you r stay at the logde.Los Abragados Lodge is great for the money. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good ammenities and a beautiful view of the Sedona Red Rocks. It's in a great area and is in the center of everything. Overall just a great value. Score 5 out of 5 great place Anonymous, Portland, OR, 2005-10-27 There is shopping right outside your door, and great places to eat too. There are charter jeep services that start right outside your door also, but if you would rather go hiking, it's a short drive in your car to some spectalar sites. We would highly recommend Los Abrigados Lodge, in Sedona, AZ. The rooms were spacious and the view incredible. We watched the sunrise over the red rocks Sedona from the comfort of our own private balcony. The room had a refrigerator, coffee maker and counter which enabled us to go light eating in our room. This area was a separate area off the room that held the bed, a small table and the television. All of the staff that we met were cheerful, and accommadating. We had a great time, and are planning on going back. Score 5 out of 5 Great location! Michele, Harrisburg, PA, 2005-10-25 The Los Abrigados is in the middle of the downtown shopping area of shops, restaurants, recreational options. The Los Abrigados Lodge was extremely accomodating. Our room was upgraded when we arrived and agreed to a time share presentation at its sister Spa and Resort. Between the new room rate and the "funny money" redeemable at several locations in Sedona, the room was free! The exceptionally large room had a view of the red rocks, a fireplace, a sitting area with a couch, 2 queen beds, a table and chairs plus a wet bar with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The shampoo and lotion samples were of the local Sedona brand along with special soaps. There was a hot tub and pool on site. We also had access to all the facilities at the Spa and Resort. The Lodge was located in downtown Sedona and in the middle of the shopping district. Now that my sister purchased the time share, I'm sure I'll go back! |
