The Bell Rock Inn originated over 50 years ago with its beginnings as a working ranch. The building that houses the lobby area was the original ranch house. Thirty two years ago building A was erected as a bunkhouse for actors filming in the Sedona area known as Red Rock Crossing. These rooms still contain the original cedar siding. The suite section and large pool/spa were added in 1995 and all rooms now offer microwave ovens mini refrigerators coffee makers hairdryers and iron/boards. Our Legends restaurant and bar are also located in the original ranch house. The friendly and helpful staff of the Bell Rock Inn are anxious to provide a relaxed and comfortable stay in its Southwestern style setting.
Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Very quaint Anonymous, 2006-06-12 It was a short drive to Bell Rock which is why I was there. You could see it from the hotel. The Bell Rock in was very clean, and a good deal for the cost. It was quaint, and friendly. The pool was refreshing. Overall, the hotel was a little outdated, but I would stay there again. The location was good for hiking Bell Rock, but further from town than I would have liked. Score 5 out of 5 Upscale but not expensive rick, Baltimore, MD, 2006-04-10 You can rent mountain bikes across the street at Absolute Bikes, and trails are right next door. Trails range from easy to challenging. We stayed in a two floor suite that had a full kitchen and gas fireplace. Rooms were big, quiet and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were great. Friendly staff. Food was average, try the Desert Flour bakery which is a short walk from the hotel. Unfortunately, a chain motel now blocks some of the room views of the Red Rocks. We would definitely stay again. Score 4 out of 5 Convenient to attractions Carlos, New York, NY, 2005-10-05 You couls walk to Bell Rock and don't need a red rock pass as you won't need to park there. The Bell Rock Inn has very comfortable suites and the people were friendly and helpful, overall a good experience Score 4 out of 5 My review of Bell Rock Inn and Suites angelo, Chicago, IL, 2005-06-24 I would not stay here again, it was old and somewhat run down. I did find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Score 4 out of 5 Appealingly away from the crowds Carolynne, Manchester, NH, 2005-04-29 If you are in Sedona primarily to enjoy hiking, and natural wonders, rather than the commercial tourist-trap atmosphere of the town center, Bell Rock is ideally located a few miles away. It's very near several popular trailheads. Our room was comfortable and spacious and staff were friendly; the hot tub was great post-hike. Score 5 out of 5 Great facility but out of the mainstream judith, 2005-04-22 Though hotel had Sedona address, was far out of the town. Facilities (had suite with fireplace) were extremely well maintained. Lounge and dining room on property were OK for families, but not much for those looking for a "good meal". So far out of town, didn't want to go in just for dinner and then drive the roads back. Staff at check in excellent, making reservations on Jeep tour for us. Overall, a good hotel if you want to be out of town. Score 4 out of 5 Very Clean and Comfortable Anonymous, San Jose, CA, 2005-03-29 The Bell Rock Inn is a good value compared to other Sedona hotels. It is located a bit far from the downtown area and was difficult to find at night, but the room was very clean and comfortable and was a good intermediate stayover to our final destination, Grand Canyon. |
