Score 5 out of 5 NIce resort property Anonymous Shopping just across the street. This is a beautiful property. The room service trays were not picked up for the entire length of our stay. Glasses and trays littered the decks along our building. Birds were getting into the leftovers! There were small things like broken window screens, etc. that could have easily been fixed. The grounds are well kept and the lobby is beautiful. Score 4 out of 5 Property very nice Anonymous, 2007-03-12 Like other older Arizona resort hotels, the grounds are beautiful and mature. The rooms are all right, although a little noisy through the walls. Don't expect an upscale resort, but this is reasonably priced for the Scottsdale area. Score 2 out of 5 Beware of Amenity fee $20 ORAL, 2006-11-27 Golf course, shopping areas upscale and Target.I was told upon check in I would have to pay a $16.74 amenity fee that is paid by every guest. Well after traveling 12 hours, I decided to use the lobby restroom. The restroom had a urine odor that met me at the door. This resort is beautiful, but old. If you plan on enjoying the fully stocked bar, be ready to pay dearly for it. If you plan on having a candy bar be ready to pay $4.75. I would have a breakfast complimentary than having to order this really expensive roomservice. Which by the way are the only options, the resturants located on the premises. Score 4 out of 5 Review thomas, Springfield, IL, 2006-11-13 Just a short drive there is a premium mall w/ high-end stores and a few good restaurants. A little further is Scottsdale Old Town w/ good restaurants, plenty of shopping and artist showcases.Score 5 out of 5 Review Anonymous, Richmond, VA, 2006-11-12 Overall pleasant experience. Clean rooms, convenient access to RDU and I-40. They offer RDU airport parking for $10.00 to leave car there for up to 10 days. Shuttle bus made special run to airport for us to make sure we checked in on time. Score 5 out of 5 A Good Place for Sun and Relaxation Norman, Oklahoma City, OK, 2006-10-30 The nearby restaurants in the Seville Shopping Center such as Roy's were first rate. Somewhat further, but still nearby, was Chart House a gourmet Seafood restaurant with beautiful ambiance and view. The Scottsdale Plaza Resort has beautiful grounds and facilities. The Remington Restaurant was good, but somewhat overpriced. However, the Remington Lounge had absolutely marvelous live jazz with different performers on alternate evenings. Nearby restaurants were superb. The staff was very helpful and the ammenaties were uo to our expectations. It was secluded quaint and everything we expected Score 4 out of 5 My review of Scottsdale Plaza Resort Jean, 2006-05-06 Fashion Square is 3 miles down the road. This was a great resort for the money and a great location for shopping and dining. THe staff was very friendly and very accomadating. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and assumed it would have a little kitchenette, or at least a fridge & microwave. It did not have either, so we were a little disappointed with that. We had our 3 year old daughter, so that would have been nice. Although the room was a nice size, the living area did not offer much seating. But we liked the front patio area and the 5 pools to choose from. The pools were great and very clean. Overall, I would recommend it. |
