Beautiful grounds, great golf course, beautiful water park, nice hiking trails, and a world class but very expensive spa. Only complaint was the almost continual interruption by hotel staff way to early in the morning to service mini bar and then to my total amazement at 7AM on the day of departure to ask when we are leaving. I love this place! The pools are amazing and I spent most of my six days there swimming. When not at the pool, I enjoyed a Native American hoop dance, flamenco performance, a jazz band with tap dancing trumpet player and an outdoor movie while floating in the pool! The Native American cultural center is wonderful and provided the opportunity to learn about NA culture and participate in activities like gemstone bracelet making. I am definitely staying here again. Price was reasonable because I stayed during the hot season, but the heat was tolerable. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel's atmosphere was great for our kids. There was a live band nearly every night at the hotel bar and lots to do at the pools each day. We ate at two of the resorts restaurants and were pleased with the food and service. The only thing that didn't meet our satisfation was that our room was not prepared for us to check in at the hotel's stated check in time and we had to wait for 2 hours in the hotel lobby with very tired kids after a long day of travel before getting settled in. VERY COMFORTABLE AND QUIET, NO OTHER ROOM NOISE HEARD. ROOM SERVICE WAS, UNLIKE MOST HOTELS, VERY PROMPT. SITTING OUTSIDE IN THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT WAS FABULOUS, ALTHOUGH THE WAIT STAFF COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE MORE EFFICIENT. ALL IN ALL, IT IS A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL IN A GREAT LOCATION. |
