Most recent user reviewsScore 3 out of 5 Under Renovation Anonymous The Prescott Conference Center is joined at the hip by the casino next door. If you want food after 9PM, they direct you to the casino...but guess what, it was under renovation. So no food. I expected full sevice amenities and ended up having to go on a late night drive to find food. They also do a lot of convention business naturally. So you have to put up with noisy crowds at times who don't care about the other guests. The rooms were larger than a standard roon and clean so the stay was not all bad...it just could have been better. Score 4 out of 5 Good hotel, nice staff. Michael, Palm Springs, CA Very close to churches, lakes & downtown food & shopping. However, the whole hotel smelled like smoke. People were smoking in the casino, outside,in the bar, in the lobby. Even on our hotel floor, we could smell it venting into our room from the hallway or room next door, kinda disgusting. I know, I smoked for 20 years. When the casino doors opened, the smell of smoke flowed right into the gym workout area. Try purchasing ozone machines, I used to sell them to bars & restaraunts.... they work GREAT. ! The room was great, the staff was nice, food was good, view & local were good. FIX the excercise equipment. PLEASE. Score 5 out of 5 nice and clean Maria You can walk to the casinoThe Hotel was nice, the front desk lady was Kind, she was nice to me. The room was comfortable, good beds to rest (we were very, very tired driving) I think is the best recomandation that I can tell, we rested very well. Nice shower, good size bath. (that is very imprtant to us). The view was beutifull to the mountains. Next time I want to gop to the Casino, I was so tired this trip that was impossible to us. Definitly we will stay next time in Prescott there Score 4 out of 5 Good location Donna, 2007-03-11 You can see the shopping centers from the hotel. This hotel has beautiful surroundings, e.g. good view, etc. I've stayed her many times but this time brought to mind they need to replace the mattress's. To be such a luxery hotel, the bed was not comfortable. I would go back, if nothing more than to see if the beds are more comfortable! I love the casino and love the dining room. Score 5 out of 5 Great view at a great price john, Newark, NJ, 2007-02-17 Centrally located 0ne and half hours to Sedona, two hours to Grand Canyon and four hours to Las Vegas. Prescot and everything we saw and experienced confirmed our initial impressions-great weather-friendly people-great location. Many fine restaurants and real western Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row are not to be missed.Check in went very smoothly and our room was a pleasant surprise being larger than average. The staff was very helpful and when we missed having our laundry picked up arranged a special pickup for us. We were impressed with the indoor heated pool and spa with exersize machines. Situated on top of a hill there are great views of the surrounding area. Score 4 out of 5 FRIENDLY, RELAXING ATMOSPHER Anonymous, Sun City, 2006-02-12 ROOM SERVICE IN THE HOTEL HAD EXCELLENT FOODWE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO SEE THE PRESCOTT RESORT. Score 5 out of 5 A Christmas Treat Carol, Richmond, VA, 2005-12-10 If you're looking for authentic Indian jewelry, baskets, pottery, etc. at reasonable prices, check out the Attic Hogan in Prescott(749 Miller Valley Road).During the month of December, the lobby of the Prescott Resort is filled with the largest gingerbread village in Arizona. It's truly a delight to see. The rooms are spacious, and the king room we stayed in had a sofa, easy chair, and coffee table--very nice for entertaining another couple or just relaxing. There's also a refrigerator, a small bar area, and lots of cabinets and drawers for storage. The Prescott Resort sits on top of a high hill, so the mountain views from the room were very pretty. The staff was helpful. When I called the front desk late at night because the the hairdryer in our room was broken, a new one was delivered. The food in the main restaurant was good, and the wait staff was also attentive. I am happy to recommend the Prescott Resort and Conference Center. Score 5 out of 5 good location and amentities Anonymous, 2005-10-02 Convenient location to downtown and to lakes, golf, hiking. Casino on site is a plus.Good location, excellent views, quality rooms and service Score 4 out of 5 Nice Resort Anonymous, Phoenix, AZ, 2005-09-18 Whiskey row and casinoVery nice resort but the past 3 times we have been there check in is at 3:00pm we never seem to get into our room until 5:00 to 6:00pm. If check in is at 3 rooms should be ready by then. Score 5 out of 5 Great views of the Mountains of Prescott Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-09-05 Quaint little casino downstairsThe Prescott Resort was very comfortable and the rooms had a lot of room to move around in. The hotel staff were all very fiendly. The only issue was that breakfast was ordered the night before to be delivered as a specified time the next morning. when it arrived it was very cold (biscuits and gravy, not good cold). But other than that the service was great. |
