During our stay the hotel was under construction for enovations. The room we stayed in had not yet been renovated. Once they complete the renovation the rooms should be even nicer. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Rooms are large with great beds. Bathrooms are somewhat small. Good value for the price Score 1 out of 5 Review Susan, Fort Wayne, IN, 2007-02-25 When we arrived at the Hotel we were not allowed to enter into the front door, we were rerouted to the back where a make shift card table was set up (by the laundry room, that door was wide open also) We brought excercise clothes (wasn't up and running) bathing suits (pool wasn't up and running) The Hotel was totally under construction. One evening we had no hot water, we had to try all the room keys to see which one would work, had to have them recalibrated to get the to work. Our room was nice, bed was comfortable. One evening we didn't have towels, i went down to the make shift front desk and no one was there. Every day there was something I had to call and complain about. Many restaurants a shoer drive away.The rooms at the AmeruSuites are very large and comfortable. The staff is well trained and helpful. The complimentary hot breakfast is the best I've ever had. The only downside to this stay was the remodeling of the upper floors which was supposed to start at 9:00 am and actually started at 7:30 am while we were trying to sleep. |
