Most recent user reviewsScore 4 out of 5 Nice place for the money Mark, Las Vegas, NV, 2006-07-10 Short drive to some cool night clubs and diningThe hotel is no better or worse than a hotel 6 but you can't beat the price for such a great location in Havasu. It's on the island and is just a half mile from the London Bridge, the boat launch for the lake is directly behind the hotel, and it's a short walk to the London Bridge channel. Very nice staff. Down side is they don't have pay per view movies or any kind of fancy amenities. Score 2 out of 5 Not worth the money John, Omaha, NE, 2006-03-28 Looks loike London bridge resort would have been better. This hotel had no restraunt. I would have expected a cofee maker in the room but there was none. You could buy cofee at quite an expense. Over all I was pretty disappointed in the place. Score 4 out of 5 Great Location Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-11-23 Short walk to London Bridge, shops, and restaurants.I loved the location of the hotel. Located out on the Island, great starting point for biking around the island and across the bridge through Havasu. Nice walking distance to the bridge, the Village and restaurants. Good value for the price. Score 5 out of 5 My review of Island Inn - Lake Havasu Anonymous, 2005-09-25 very close to the lakebeds were very small-no tv remote in the room.other than that it was a nice place to stay. Score 3 out of 5 walking distance to the channel Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-09-05 Bring an ice chest. The Island Inn is a typical party hotel during the summer months. It's mostly young people who are going to party at the channel and in walking distance to the London Bridge. I've stayed there before, but was unaware of the fact that only some of the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves...mostly on the 3rd and 4th floors. So if you're on the 1st or 2nd floors make sure you bring an ice chest. Definately worth the money to be within walking distance of the popular night place, Kokomos, and the channel so driving isn't necessary. Score 4 out of 5 Started off on the wrong foot.... Christine, Tucson, AZ, 2005-06-28 When I arrived in Lake Havasu, I went to the motel to check in. It was 2:30 pm. The desk clerk told me she couldn't check anyone in until 3 p.m. Now I know most hotels have an "official" check in time, but this was the first time in all my years of traveling that they refused to let me check in until that "official" time. Well, it turned out that the morning desk clerk allowed some guests a late check-out time, which totally threw off the in-coming guests' arrivals, due to the rooms not being cleaned. I was about to just leave to go find another hotel when they told me the room was ready. We grabbed out luggage and went to the room, only to find the maid still in the middle of cleaning. Then, once we got in the room, I discovered the toilet wouldn't flush. Seems the inside lever had broken. I called the front desk and the maintenance staff responded immediately. The toilet was fixed in less than 5 minutes and the rest of my stay was great. Noodles Restaurant (located on the premises) has absolutely delicious Italian food and their service was great. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Score 4 out of 5 the price was right Anonymous, Los Angeles, CA, 2005-05-30 we picked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest rates for the holiday weekend. i feel we got what we paid for. i feel the hotel could work on their housekeeping a little more. there were spiderwebs in the dusty trees by the elevator with spiders in them. it was a little creepy. Score 4 out of 5 VERY FRIENDLY STAFF Anonymous, Mcallen, TX, 2005-05-15 GREAT LOCATION |
