Most recent user reviewsScore 1 out of 5 no tell motel Aida, Orange County, CA, 2006-05-14 I was close to all shopping, food, clothing , restaurants. That was the only plus.there were no deluxe rooms, no king size beds, the pool towels were hand towels the hotel was nearly empty, there were no cups or ice buckets in my room, overall I was greatly disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to my my friends, I would recommended to my enemies. I cannot begin to express the disappontment and embrassment I felt when I walked into that room, and most important thing I forgot to mention was the carpet. I came of the shower and the I walk aound bare footed in the room, my feet were dirty because the carpet, I quess had never been clean. Score 1 out of 5 Miserable stay! Anonymous, San Diego, CA, 2005-10-30 Havasu Inn was a huge disappointment. The only good I can say is the bed was comfortable. Upon arriving they didn't have a room for us. They wanted to give us 2 doubles instead of the king that was reserved. That was unacceptable because 6'2 does not do well in a double bed. The room they put us in was very confusing. It seemed to be made for disabled to some degree, the toilet was high, the door openings larger, but the sink was so high it hit me just below the bust. I'm 5'5 tall. The tub was up on a platform so stepping out was very difficult. It was a good 6 step down from inside the tub to the floor. Then we had no hot water until we let the water run for 35 minutes. By this time we were running behind and it made for a terrible start to what should have been a wonderful day. And...the handle fell off the faucet in the tub. Good thing I carry a small set of tools so I could turn the water off. The location was good. It was around restaurants, grocery stores and strip malls. |
