The breakfast had many options and had enough for everyone. The choices were good, especially the hot waffles. The dining area was clean, pleasantly decorated and plenty of room to sit. Score 5 out of 5 Family friendly-room for kids to play Martha, Albuquerque, NM, 2006-11-23 There are many resturants in the area of all price ranges. The Flagstaff Days Inn was a bargain. There was a nice view, the rooms were large and confortable, the staff was nice, and the hotel was clean. They had a large game room with pool table that my son especdially enjoyed. I worked out on the excersize equipment. It was clean, in good repair, and was not outdated. The rooms and beds were very confortable. It was not right on the freeway but there were lots of restaurants nearby. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Days Inn Flagstaff - West Route 66 Anonymous, Kingsport, TN, 2006-10-27 Nice location to start a drive to Sedona on historic R-66The room was large and excellent. Location good. We had a problem. We arrived at dusk and tried to get some ice. The ice machine in our section was not working. We asked the front desk where we can get some ice. They sent us all over the premesis to other sections but none of the ice machines was working. It was freezing weather. Finally, we went back into the dining area and got ice from the bar man. The girl at the front desk was ignorant and not courteous! Such people should not be assigned jobs at the front desk. But for this, the stay was fine. Breakfast was very good! Score 2 out of 5 Room Accomodations Lydia, 2006-10-09 a good Mexican restaurant named, Casa Bolita and there is Coco's for a good breakfast. My complaints with this motel are: They had 2 large tourists groups staying there and we were placed on the back lot, up stairs with no elevator, we are seniors, and had to drag our heavy luggage up stairs, we both have slight disabilities, so that was very hard. My husband takes injections that have to be kept cool, the ice machine near our room was broke, and never repaired, I had to walk(it seemed) a block to get to an ice machine that worked. The Complimentary Breakfast is ok if you are not diabetic, they served just sweets. After the first day we ask that our room not be cleaned, we were in a hurry to drive to the Grand Canyon and did not have time to secure our personal things, the maid cleaned the room anyway, andshe cleaned adequately but neglected to put the coffee packages for the coffee machine each day. Score 5 out of 5 Great Grand Canyon Stop Norman, State College, PA, 2006-09-16 The Days Inn Flagstaff - West Rt 66 - was warm and friendly. The staff was very helpful in providing maps and info for Grand Canyon. At first, I thought the room would be noisy with the train so close - but there was no noise during the night. The view is nice. The continental breakfast provided a good selection of food. Score 5 out of 5 Great Place To Stay Shantel, Phoenix, AZ, 2006-05-29 The Flagstaff Mall is only a short drive with plenty of stores to visit. The Days Inn in Flagstaff on Highway 66 is a wonderful place to stay. Whether you are traveling by yourself or with friends and family this is the perfect place for you. The lobby is beautiful and the continental breakfast is great. The ability to make fresh waffles is great for kids and those that are kids at heart. The huge heated pool is a great amenity when it is cold out. The front office has a great area with a pool table, fireplace, darts and other things to keep you entertained. I would truly recommend this hotel to everyone. My family and I plan on visiting again very soon. Score 4 out of 5 Quiet older motel John, 2006-05-13 Stains on bedspreads and floor made first impression bad. Room was larger than average, quiet, and beds comfortable. Nice contenental breakfast. Older Root 66 hotel - they should play-up this angle - replace bedspreads and clean carpets. Score 4 out of 5 My review of Flagstaff - Days Inn Highway 66 James, Lubbock, TX, 2005-12-21 I stay in Flagstaff on my way to and from California, so I tend to arrive late and leave early. The hotel is near the railroad tracks, I could not hear them from my room on the courtyard side of the building. The breakfast was better than average. The wireless internet access was a big plus. Overall, it was a good value, and I will probably stay there again. |
