Its expansive grounds offer unlimited recreational activities for outdoor enthusiasts while world class facilities, gourmet dining and luxurious amenities pamper guests in an unpretentious atmosphere recently rated Travel Holiday magazine's "favorite Tucson resort".

A full range of exciting activities - rugged outdoor hikes in the Catalina Mountains, desert jeep tours exploring mystical canyons, on-site horseback adventures and nature walks, biking, plus tennis, golfing and spa revitalization programs - are all designed to enrich the guest experience with the magic and discovery of Arizona's great outdoors. Inside and out, Westward Look is the natural choice for incomparable family vacations, romantic interludes or corporate retreats.

Wellness: Pamper yourself after a day of fun, sun and activity with a luxurious spa service in the resort's Wellness Center, offering massages, facials and Southwestern healing treatments for both men and women. Our professional therapists revitalize your mind, body and spirit with relaxing techniques using desert botanicals - some from our very own medicinal herb garden. Then enjoy a Catalina Cuisine lunch on our Relaxation Sun Patio overlooking splendid mountain vistas. You never felt so good.

Horseback Riding: Saddle up for an authentic Western-style trail ride at our on-site stables and experience Tucson's Old West heritage. Our professional wranglers will show you the ropes on horsemanship during a 15-minute orientation prior to each ride. Enjoy scenic vistas as trails wind around the resort's natural desert acres and the chance to glimpse the desert's magnificent plants and wildlife - including quail, coyote, rabbit and javelina - that all inhabit the resort's pristine grounds.

Golf: Stay with us and play a different course each day! Westward Look Resort is located within close proximity to some of Tucson's finest golf courses. Its affiliation with the magnificent Raven Golf Club - voted among the "Top 10 New Courses" by Golf Magazine - has won the resort a prestigious Golden Links Award. A great discovery

Check out Sabino Canyon. Also, AJ's Market, Restaurant North at the Mall not far from the resort.

The Westward Look is the best resort I've stayed at in the Tucson area. The decor in the lobby and surrounding areas is authentic and comfortable, not pretentious and sterile like some other resorts in the area. The hotel dining is delightful, with interesting cuisine and friendly staff; we dined at all 3 of the available venues -- liked them all. The view from the resort terrace and pool area is breathtaking. I stayed in the least expensive of the available room options, and it was excellent! Loved the bathroom/vanity area and the room itself. When I return with my husband, which I will, I will try one of the larger suite-type rooms. My only complaint would be the fitness room -- not enough and not well-maintained equipment -- but with the gorgeous and useable natural surroundings, it's not a big deal. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

A secluded, lush deser within the city.

Charlotte, Minneapolis, MN, 2006-11-09

the location was close to many fine restaurants and shopping.

The Westward Loook Resort was very enjoyable and peaceful. We had a lagre comfortable room with two sinks and vanity. One inside and one outside of the bathroom. Loved the Balcony with a view of the mountains and overlooking a one of the three pools. The nature trails were great for a morning walks and we enjoyed the stunning views from the Lookout Bar and Grille for breakfeast and lunch.

Sonoran Desert museum which was only above a 1/2 h our drive was worth the visit. The drive itself was gorgeous.

The Westward Look Resort was a very unique place. The setting was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were large and it was nice having our own patio to enjoy all the nature that surrounded us.

First Class Resort

Cathy, Wilkes-Barre, PA, 2006-08-28

The Tuscon and Foothills Malls are close , about 15 minute drive. Also, other name brand stores around that same area.

Westward Look Resort is a Top Notch - first Class Resort. The location was close to restaurants, Tuscon Mall,Foothills Mall and shopping in general. The room was verysouthwest, large, comfortable with a couch, chair, desk & tables. The bathroom was great with 2 different areas(1 with huge closet and sink) and the other with the typical shower and bathroom area. Enjoyed the 2 swimming pools that were in close proximity to our room. I would highly recommend this resort. The peanut butter crunch french toast and fresh fruit plate was delicious!

Poor Prep.

Tim, 2006-07-04

Great Italian. Make a res.

there were many problems with this resort. I stayed for two nights. I had the worst room service ever(no one would eat the pizza when offered). They through away my newspapper, forgot to stock my room with a drink so they came and interupted my stay to bring it to me. Then they came back later to bring more food items(for sale) an hour later. No privacy at all. This was upset me. You can get more for your money elsewhere in Tucson for sure.

Great value in Arizona

Andrew, Baltimore, MD, 2005-08-29

Arizona is a spread out city, you will want to have a car at your disposal if you plan on any shopping or site seeing. Most major super markets are represented as are all national and regional chains. If you enjoy Mexican food check out Los Molanitos on Ina Rd. several miles west of the resort.

My wife and I enjoyed the Westward View Resort much more then any standard hotel we have ever visited. The grounds are extremely well kept, hospitable, comfortable, and relaxing. Every employee was amiable and inquired as to whether there was anoything they could do for us. There was ample space in the room, wireless internet access, and a wide selection on the breakfast menu, which we chose to have served in our room daily. I was overwhelmed by extraordinary variety of cactus and wildlife. Everything was beautifully maintained. Most of the rooms are at ground level with private entrances to each room, ensuring a very private experience. The small refrigerator in the room was a blessing as we needed a fairly large quantity of beverages during our summer stay in the desert of Arizona. I will not hesitate to visit these wonderful accomodations again and again.
