Most recent user reviewsScore 5 out of 5 Clean, quiet and a nice pool Anonymous, 2006-05-12 There is a small restaurant called Coco's up route 69 towards downtown Precott. Good food and prices without loud music. They where willing to accomodate older folks who share a meal without charging extra. The Forest Villa hotel in Prescott is clean, quiet and has a spa like feel. It has a lovely outdoor pool and hot tub that is well kept. Towels are provided in the pool area. The rooms are clean and come with handy things like a mini refrigerator, an ironing board, hair dryer and coffee maker. The towels smell nice. The view from the room balcony is lovely and it is a nice place to sit and watch the sunset. The hotel is located right next to the main highway which makes it very easy to find local attractions. Close to the hotel, there are lots of restaurants and stores to choose from. Score 4 out of 5 Use as a stopover only Bente, 2006-04-26 Bring you swim-suit, nice jaccuzzi! The Forest Villas was OK as a stopover hotel night. The room was had nice appointments, but did have a funny odor that I noticed after we'd already settled in for the evening. But nothing a little room freshner couldn't cover. I had a little trouble conveying to the manager that we didn't want to face the highway. It seemed like he understood when I registered, but he called out to us as we made our way to the room only to re-assign us another room because he accidently assigned us a room facing the highway, exactly what I didn't want. But, he made good on the request, no worries. When I visit the Prescott area again, I will opt to stay in the downtown area. I love the town! It is no wonder, because the food is above average in taste and in serving sizes. It is worth any wait you may have. We had lunch and breakfast there. It was fantastic! This hotel was perhaps one of the most noisy hotels we have ever stayed in. We could hear the people in the room next to us coughing. We could hear them when they went to the bathroom, we could hear people walking on the floor above us. It is as if they didn't have any insulation. The bathroom floors were icy cold tile and we had to wear socks to keep from freezing while standing at the sink. There were no rugs to make it more comfortable. The extensive Continental Breakfast was a joke. We have never been to a continental breakfast that didn't include some pastries and donuts and yogurt or fresh fruit. They had some canned peaches, mini muffins, stale bagels, cold cereal, boiled eggs and boiled saugages,OJ or apple juice and coffee. It was not what was expected when it is billed as Extensive. The tvs were dinky in the room and in the gym. There were very few machines in the gym.People were waiting all the time. We could have tolerated the gym situation but the noise in the room was unbearable, the heating system sucked in the room and freezing cold tile floors were inexcusable. The decor was dated. It did not match up to the appearance you would expect from seeing the lobby. They need to update, perhaps add an armoire to the room and get tvs larger than a 19 inch. On the other hand the staff was pleasant and the place was very clean. It was a great location close to Prescott Valley and close enough to the downtown with a short commute. Lots of restaurants were close by. Score 5 out of 5 very good for the whole family Anonymous, Dawson City, YT, 2005-11-07 the location was perfect; it is in the center of the town.excellent choice.
