Dissapointed in Kingman

Chose Kingman AZ because it is close to the old mining town of Oatman Az. A fasinating step back in time as the wild burrows walk the streets and mooch carrots from the visitors. Lots of history, gift shops, historical places and fun. Returned to Kingman down old Route 66. Went to the visitors center and toured the Route 66 museum. Really enjoyed it. Lots of real life displays , pictures
On first glance the room was spacious w/ two beds, table and two chairs, refrigerator and microwave and tv. Bath was seperate from vanity and ample room to hang clothes. However, after walking on the carpet barefoot, my feet were black. The ceiling in the bath had mold and a hole in it. The Tv wasn't clear and only got HBO channels. The continental breakfast was plane cake donuts, dry cereal, Sunny D , milk and coffee. There was no sugar sub or creamer for the coffee. The second day of our stay, even the Sunny D was gone. This motel also charged for a bucket of ice. I have never heard of that one. The location was easy to find off the interstate and it was close to eating places, grocery store, and department store.
